I was surprised at the quality of the liquid Gold leaf paint. So easy to use, spreads out smoothly, and a great value for the money. Sticks immediately to China, wood, plastic. Does not run. I would change the brush to better quality and with a tapered brush, for even better control. Brushes washed out perfect. I used alchol to clean. I'm not sure how flexible the gold paint is, I mostly used it on hard surfaces. Makes old items look new. I would definitely buy again! A little paint goes a long way. It also dries VERY fast as well. Thank you!

So easy to use. It’s like painting nail polish because the paint brush is connected to the lid. It’s be very thin paint almost watery which I liked. It’s easy to paint the edge of oysters shells. They’re very porous so it fills in the crevices fast! It dries slightly shiny but very classy.

Love this product. I was using DecoArt’s Americana Decor Metallics Paint for some detail work on my concrete pieces and it worked great, but I saw this product and decided to try it out because of the fast drying effect and the fact that it has a built in brush. I’m glad that I did because this color is much better than the DecoArt’s, it’s a richer and more realistic color and I love how fast it dries (although it makes it difficult when I make a mistake as I cannot wipe it off but I’ll take the trade off). I’m able to complete my pieces in a fraction of the time that I used to, and with kiddos and a baby, that’s essential. Overall I’m fully satisfied and will purchase again. For reference, I’ve added photos. The green holder was painted with the DecoArt paint and the charcoal was done with the Liquid Gold Leaf Paint.

Fast drying, great color, great chrome coverage, a big runny, not thick, layering takes some practice

I was repainting metal parts for two lamps, some stripped completely, some not. Some bits got sanding, and everything was scrubbed down with alcohol beforehand. The larger parts got a coat of oil paint, but I wanted something vaguely metallic for the top and the accent pieces, and I didn't want to use spray paint because I'm incredibly inept with it. I got a bottle of the English gold color. On my monitor it looks vaguely greenish, but in person it's a dull gold with a light sheen, not greenish at all. When I first got the bottle, my reaction was "Wait, that's it? It's so small." In the end, even after putting on multiple coats, I didn't use the entire bottle. This was the first time I've used an alcohol paint, and I was surprised by how thin it is and how quickly it dries. I used the painting wand attached to the cap. The paint coverage was a bit inconsistent; it was quite good over metal that had been completely stripped but patchy on the parts that still had remnants of the previous whatever-it-is finish on them, hence the multiple coats. I covered it with clear gloss polyurethane after it had completely dried. In the end, I never did achieve a consistent coverage overall, but I actually like how it looks with that occasional mottling effect. I'm pretty satisfied and glad I used this instead of fumbling with spray paint.

Convincing bright metallic gold color. Good adhesion with easy to use little brush for painting small details.

This guilding paint is PHENOMENAL. It looks exactly like gold leaf but without the irritation and fiddly nature of using actual gold leaf. I love adding gold accent to paintings and drawings and I used to use gold leaf to achieve that because any other guilding paint that ive tried just doesn't have the right look, but this paint perfectly achieves it. I personally wont use the brush that comes with it since I need a smaller paint brush for more accurate and smaller lines, but its really nice that it comes with a little brush. Its a fairly thin paint, but it dries incredibly quickly and covers perfectly in one coat. I dont notice any strong odor with it whatsoever.

Bought this to change some jewellery findings to gold plated instead of silver plated. The paint is really thin in consistency which makes it really easy to get an even covering. It also dries really quickly too, and having a brush in the top makes it super handy to grab and use. The finish was really good, I let the findings dry completely overnight and it was impossible to see that I’d painted them as the coverage and finish was that good. Highly recommended!

Il prodotto non rispecchia le aspettative generate dalla sua promozione, in quanto il risultato finale si discosta significativamente dall'effetto "foglia oro" pubblicizzato. Considerato il costo elevato di questi colori, ci si attendeva una maggiore aderenza alle promesse del prodotto. Esprimo una profonda delusione. Inoltre il pennello all'interno è inutile perché non preciso e setole sparse come se fosse una scopa di saggina.

Étonnamment couvrante vous n'avez pas besoin d'énormément de peinture pour couvrir une grande surface, de plus les micro paillettes ne ce voit carrément plus du tout une foit sec, cependant pour une utilisation plus fine et des détails au pinsceaux fin poils dure,(ou avec la brosse fournies) je l'aurais faite plus épaisse, moins liquide, si vous vous ratez vous pouvez facilement l'enlever avec un coton/coton tige imbibé d'alcool isopropylique ça part tout seul comme ça, je ne comprends pas les avis négatif concernant la tenue sur les surfaces, ces une peinture intérieur type "encre de posca" ce n'es pas fait pour être dehors ou être frotté, dans ces utilisation suffit de la vernire une fois séché totalement (5/15mn selon l'humidité) sinon c'est sec en 9s, j'ai fait des tests et ça survie à un passage au lave vaisselle pour un cycle 40°c de 45mn direct devant les jet, (1 seul couche), donc je recommande vivement. Sur ma 2em photo le bas de la sculpture en bronze n'es pas peinte avec cette peinture, ces la peinture d'origine, on ne le remarque que en regardant de très près.
