Please watch my video review but overall I was very excited to finally get a hold of a kit with an 8GB raspberry pi. Basically, if you are looking for a complete setup for your raspberry pi, this is pretty much it. Now, the only things you will need besides what you see here are monitor, mouse, and keyboard. No reason to pay for them if you already have them at home. I also assume that people who buy this sort of kits are savvy enough and can hook everything up. The most exciting item here for me is of course the Raspberry Pi, as this one is top of the line with 8GB of RAM. It’s a huge jump from the previous generation and the only one that I found performs adequately for watching movies and browsing the web. You also have a couple of cables to connect your PI to an external monitor. Please guys note, that the Raspberry Pi 4 does not have full size HDMI ports, so it’s nice to have a cable that goes from micro HDMI to a full size HDMI input, no dongles required. The board supports two external monitors, so you have two cables here. Just a pro tip, the micro HDMI port that’s closer to the power input, is the one that supports 60hz in 4k. The other one only supports 4k in 30hz mode. The included power adapter is just what you need as it provides 3 amps. Most of the issues that I have seen with the Pi boards is lack of power, so, 3 amps is what I personally would recommend. I would say the bare minimum is 2.5 amps. This wasn’t true with the previous model but pi 4 is pretty power hungry. There are 4 heatsinks, a small screwdriver, and a fan in the kit. Now, these are not absolutely required but if you are going to do any overclocking, they provide the necessary cooling for the board. Otherwise, it will throttle and the system will crawl to a halt. And by the way, I do recommend overclocking the board to at least something like 800 or 900 mhz. Raspberry Pi can easily handle it. You could potentially overclock it above 1 Ghz but you will need a really high end cooling solution. There is also a case if you don’t want to look at the exposed board. It’s made of plastic, which makes it pretty light. Of course there are other options out there but this one is fine with me. And last but not least there is a 32 gigabyte micro sd card, an SD card adapter and a micro SD card reader. 32 Gigs should give you plenty of space. Before you can use your raspberry pi you will need an operating system, so search for the Raspberry PI imager. Once you download and install it, choose Raspbian Pi OS, which is I would personally recommend as a starting point. So, a very nice kit, has everything you guys might need to get started. I can't say much about the price as this is what these go for these days.

I have wanted to take the chance and pick one of these up for years. I’m a programmer with a lot of knowledge with python and automation so this has always interested me. I took the plunge and I can’t wait to see what more I can create with this little device. But that’s just my journey with Raspberry Pi. This little device can be used by just someone who needs a cheap web browser or something to connect to a TV to stream videos. The web browser will have you surfing your favorite sites and streaming/binging in no time. In the Box: Opening up the box, the contents can seem overwhelming but they all nicely and neatly fit together. I took all the components out and went through the set up guide and was able to pretty quickly get my device on the internet. The boards do not have any memory, so the micro SD card included was so helpful. You will need to install the Raspberry PI OS on the card, so you’ll need access to a PC or laptop when setting up. Compared to other options, I was happy to see the power supply had an on/off switch. The Pi will just power up when connected, the switch gives me a convenient toggle. In the box is 2 HDMI Mini to HDMI cords so you can get some dual monitor action without any extra peripherals. Out of the box: The operating system may take some getting used to for lifetime windows users. I love the simplicity of it. Once powered up, the menu is simple and to the point. A few programming options if you are looking to take your creativity forward. A few web browsers that open up the portal of the world. It was super fun to put together and made me feel pretty accomplished when finished!! Final thoughts: This little device has the potential to turn any monitor with an HDMI port into a computer and gives you all the options a computer would. Statics on memory, speed, etc, I’m not going to stress that, this is an awesome method to get connected and get playing, gaming, watching, and learning. Raspberry Pi has an abundance of free courses so if you do want to learn python and how to customize this highly modular system, the limits are only defined by you. Love this little device. If you are considering one, do it. It’s a fun device to put together and see the benefits of what you’ve made.

This Raspberry Pi 4 kit is an excellent package with everything needed to get started. The included 8GB RAM model provides great performance for various applications. The kit includes essential accessories like a power adapter, heatsinks, cooling fan, microSD card, and a case, making setup easy. However, the included screwdriver is quite small and may not be ergonomic for extended use. But It works for simple assembly. Overall, I'm satisfied with this kit. It's a great value for beginners and experienced users alike!

Great kit! I would like to have a picture of where to apply heat sinks but there were online videos that helped.

Bought this board to set up my high score board for an arcade machine and I’m pretty happy with how it’s worked. Comes mostly assembled and with tutorials online it is simple to learn the programming necessary to get it to do what you want. Size is good for fitting behind the monitor I have planned to use and it doesn’t draw much for power.

Works as expected

This is the second Raspberry Pi 4B that I've purchased from RasTech and it won't be my last. Many other vendors are still hiking up the prices of Raspberry Pi 4's as they are still in short supply almost everywhere. With super fast shipping, the price on these Pi's can't be beat. These SBC's are great to use for almost any project. Currently I'm making a small 4" Android Tablet with this Pi and it's been performing flawlessly.

It was quickly delivered to me even though I live on the other side of the world, everything is great except the fan. The screws they provide is way too big for the fan. Secondly no instructions for assembly so I would suggest going to YouTube.

Este pack llegó a tiempo y todo bien, lo único que agregaria es que se aseguren de tener los tornillos correctos para el ventilador, tuve que tomar 2 de los que se fijan al motherboard. un instructivo para colocar el ventilador también vendría bien si vuelvo a comprar

La fuente de poder es un poco delicada, lanaza alertas de voltaje bajo y a veces apaga la salida del HDMI por unos segundos.
