One Handle Earthen Pot - 16cm Diameter, 750g Capacity, Uncoated Terracotta, Suitable for Stovetop, No Lid

I used this pot everyday for porridge,stews for one,eggs,hot chocolate,it's brilliant,I love it

Not sure why but my clay pot arrived today with a crack around the handle. Though I disregarded it as redundant when cooking, it soon became prevalent that I was wrong as the pot broke the instant I picked it up at the handle. Im not sure if I'll be able to get a replacement for it but it seems that I'll unlikely buy this product again.

My pot has a rough patch at the bottom, I don’t think they check the products before they ship to the customers, or even worse, don’t care. There’s also no wiring around it. Luckily I don’t intend to fry anything in it. Cooking rice is ok ( but then I know enough to be careful so it hasn’t burnt nor stick). Some reviews said the handle is too short, but restaurants in Hong Kong use them to do all in one pot rice so the handle need to be short to allow more to be put on the stoves, that, I don’t have any problem. I only want a very small pot to do hot pot for a vegan friend while the rest of us are not vegans so it does the job.

Perfect porridge pot - providing you are careful not to expose it to extremes of temperature. My last Chinese clay pot lasted 12 years with almost daily use.

I was expecting wire around pot as in the original photo.

It's cheap, but has low quality written all over it. The handle needs to be a bit longer so you can grip easily. I don't expect it to last. But you get what you pay for.

Despite being stressed about the delivery date a couple of weeks down the line, these arrived the day after I placed the order, which was a real and pleasant surprise. Both in one piece, too, I'm glad to say, though you could maybe ensure this even more with the addition of a little 'FRAGILE' tape from now on. Just a thought anyway. Cheers 👍
