Grassburr roller
An unconventional use. I taped a flannel cloth and ran roller across yard to pick up grass burrs. Worked great. Light weight and easy to handle. I will do again in the spring and may add water for more weight on the thicker grass areas.

Crumbles if you keep the plug in
Used it in sunshine, then drained the water, put the plug back in and moved it to the garage. Next day, the drum had shrunk to the point where one of the bearings had been pulled out of the plastic. Why? When it gets colder, the air contracts. With the plug in and the drum being just plastic, the drum has to give in.THERE SHOULD BE A VERY CLEAR WARNING ABOUT THIS!Solution: don't fasten the plug, so some air can move in and out. Also, when I moved the drum back in the sun, the drum expanded. It took some hammering though to get the bearing to move back in place.Based on all this, I'm not sure about the longevity of the product.

Heavy but not TOO heavy when full, easy to assemble and not as hard to push as one would expect.
Im actually very happy with this roller. Being that you can fill it up with water and actually regulate yourself how much weight you're putting on your ground is such an unexpected convenience. Before this we were using a small tow-behind option that didnt' have the ability to do that and found we were often OVER rolling our ground, making it too hard. This is easy to navigate and not nearly as hard to push as I was thinking it might be. Feels durable and was running over decently sharp rocks that are making their way out of our ground and hasn't puncturerd. It's relatively easy to drain, but as one could imagine looking at the drain, when it gets very low it's a bit difficult to get EVERY bit of water out if you're needing to. I just leave the drain cap off at that point and store it. Not a big deal and hoping that helps keep it from mildewing inside.Good price and really a great way to smooth out your lawn area!

Can be towed behind lawn tractor using a Simpson Strong Tie
Landzie 24 in Lawn Roller:Very pleased with this lawn roller. Drum is easy to fill and drain and is sufficiently heavy when filled with water to flatten out mole tunnels in the lawn. Design allows the drum to be rolled next to wooden borders surrounding the lawn where some of the mole tunnels are located. On flat ground, drum rolls fairly well with a constant push; however, drum is too heavy to push/pull up a slope by hand.To enable rolling the drum up a slope (when completely filled with water) using my lawn tractor, I drilled two holes in the handle to attach (with bolts/nuts) a Simpson Strong Tie (11-1/4 in 12 gauge steel strap) purchased at Lowe's. After rounding off the end of the tie that attaches to the lawn tractor and expanding the size of the hole in the steel strap, the strap links the heavy lawn roller to the lawn tractor and rolls smoothly behind the tractor.

Saved me hours!
I needed a way to quickly level a large swath of my front yard while doing some landscaping and this thing really came in handy. It was easy to fill with a combo of sand and water, which is what I highly recommend as it makes the roller as heavy as possible.Something to note is that it's hard to fill the drum completely because of where the hole is located. Make sure to roll it so that it's on the topmost part of the barrel when you start to fill, but without tipping it 90 degrees, you'll never be able to fill it all the way. And good luck tipping it once it's weighing 200 pounds or more. That said, getting it to 80 percent full is more than adequate for nearly every application I can think of with this product. The maneuverability is wonderful and it's truly easy to roll around to level out your ground. Saved me so much time that I would've spent leveling in other more involved ways.
