Well, I know I always read the reviews, good and bad, before purchasing. This here is a raving success for a review. Our 8 1/2 year old son is such a deep sleeper! Like, really deep! We had tried various times to train him at night. We had no issues with our first 2 children, so he was a mystery to us, although we knew it was normal as well. So, we didn't press it. He was definitely to the point of not wanting to be in them anymore. During the COVID19 shelter-in-place, we figured what better time to try nighttime training again. He asked me to wake him up and take him to the potty, but the kid was dead asleep everytime, so I'd literally pick him up out of bed and set him on the potty, and would do this 2-3 times a night. He still woke up with wet underwear!! Well, I was tired of waking up at night to take a zombie to the potty and then still have to change wet sheets. So, we searched different monitors. I landed on this one, and my son was super motivated! But, he was old enough to want to do it himself. I figured he'd need me to get up with him at night, but we had practiced how to work it when he was awake. And, he managed to do it all on his own at night! It would alarm, he'd hop up, get to the potty, and change his clothes, then set it back up and return to sleep. I set a stack of underwear and pj bottoms in the bathroom. He went through them the first few nights and then that became less and less. He'd have a dry night here and there and nights where he didn't make it before the alarm ever. I think there were only 2 times where he was literally not waking up with the alarm quick enough for his older brother roommate. Most of the time, the alarm woke him just fine (we did the vibrate, sound, and lights combined setting). This went on for about 2 weeks. After 2 wks, he started having dry nights over and over. The program suggests you go 14 dry days in a row without the monitor having to alarm before getting rid of the monitor. He went 13 days and then was wet on the 14th night. We asked him to go 7 more days with the monitor. He did that great and we graduated him! He has not looked back since then! I seriously cannot believe it worked so well! Even his older siblings were shocked! It was well worth the money! I highly recommend this product!! Just a side note, it does give info on how to clean it regularly, so it doesn't randomly start alarming. We kind of ignored, or maybe missed, that info until one night when it kept going off and he was awake and clearly dry. I dug out the directions and read the cleaning instructions. That solved the problem! Anyway, I am so impressed with this monitor!

Sensor worked for about two days and then started to malfunction. It would have false alarms and then wouldn’t alarm when there was an accident.Contacted the company (the email included in the instructions with the device is non-functional) and they had me read the lot number off them. The representative told me that the new model, which he claimed I have, did not have any of the issues reported.He had me run the sensor under hot water and dry it completely. He said this would fix all the issues (that he said it wasn’t having since it was a new model).This solution did not fix the sensor and it is continuing to malfunction constantly. Save your money and try another product.

This alarm changed the life of our 6 year old. He was wetting the bed almost nightly after a couple of weeks with the alarm we were virtually accident free!!Why 4 stars instead of 5?The sensor is super sensitive. When we first received our order, the sensor broke within two days. However, a call to customer service and new one was sent out immediately.

I gave this two stars instead of one because in the end, the product did it's job. It took about a month for it to work for my son...but it did the trick. That said, it was extremely frustrating to work with this product. It worked perfectly for about a week and then the sensor became really touchy (as stated in many other reviews). My husband is electrically minded and managed to fudge with it each night (multiple times a night) in order to make it work until the next time it alarmed. Most of these alarms were false alarms and went off while my son was still awake reading in bed. It was maddening. Thankfully, a month in, my son began making it through the night without accidents so we didn't have to deal with it anymore. He was accident free for about 4 months! Just this past week he started having accidents again and we had to pull out this alarm. It is completely ineffective at this point. I called customer service and got voicemail. I left a message and I guess we will see what happens from here. I'll keep you posted.

Like many others, my son is bedwetting too and hes reached 8 years now. He has refused to use a bedwetting alarm and continues to use diapers. But this month, on his 8th birthday, we asked him if he was ready and he said yes. There are just so many alarms here that it's hard to select which one is suitable for your kids. We decided against a bedmat and higher priced alarms. The armband alarms were nowhere as good from our friends experience. This alarm looked child friendly and the stickers were cute. We ordered it and started using it the day it arrived. My son immediately liked the stickers. We decided to use one sticker every two weeks as it would take around 8 weeks for the treatment to work and for him to stop bedwetting. First week was rough. The alarm kept going off two - three times a night. I thought it was a flaw, but he was wetting like every few hours. Sometimes we got false alarms from the sensor not being dried out completely. Called the company and they said.... shake the sensor and its good to go. We did that just and like magic, it started working well and false alarms were gone. A week later, he was wetting once a night, but still wet every night. We started limiting fluid intake and waking him up as soon as we heard the alarm and that was the biggest step. Next night, he wet only 3 times the week and the week after just once. The progress is going on now. He has had 10 straight dry nights and we have stopped the treatment. We are saving the alarm for future use.It's fun to use with the stickers and easy to operate. No strange buttons to press and no complicated operation. just plug in the sensor and its good to use. The alarm is compact and easy to fix on the t-shirt. It doesn't feel heavy or pull on the t-shirt.I would recommend this if your child is bedwetting. Just be patient and give it time to work out. The system is effective and you will be happy with the results like I have been.
