It is a heavy, well made, vegetable knife. It needs a sturdy cutting board. I've not sharpened it yet. Requires a little extra care.

Love this knife so far. Sweet potatoes cut like butter.

This has ended up being one of my favorite knives. My go to for cutting veggies with good weight (not a light knife) and balance for pivoting on the tip and chopping carrots, potatoes, celery, etc. I clean after each use and it still looksa great hanging on my magnet bar months later.
