Bought to replace a Brita jug that had seen better days. Jug is fine, seems to hold more water than the old one - but the lid is so difficult to get on ….. a lot of banging is involved!!! Not sure why - never had this problem with the old one. Rather than fitting tightly it seems to just sit on top. I filled it one day and started to pour some water out before it had all run through - and the top came off with water flooding over my worktops. With all the banging to get the lid on I suspect it will only be a matter of time before it breaks; next time I’ll try the flip top lid!

Absolutely love my Brita water filter! It's amazing how much of a difference it makes – the water tastes so much cleaner and fresher, completely getting rid of the hard water from the tap. Really nice , perfect size , not heavy

Brita filters always do their job well but this jug is an absolute pain to fill each time. The lid section has to be fully removed every time and doing so often pulls the internal housing out of place, so the lid won’t go back on. Whatever indicator Brita jugs have telling you when to change filters, it runs down shockingly fast. The filter should be good for much much longer. Also the limescale expert filter, seems to let through just as much limescale as the standard filters. I suspected as much.

La jarra Brita con filtro fue una de las mejores compras que hice para casa. La diferencia en el sabor del agua se nota desde el primer uso: queda mucho más suave, sin olor y perfecta para beber o preparar café y té. Además, ayuda a reducir la cal, algo que se agradece muchísimo si vivís en una zona con agua dura ( yo vivo en Alicante y el agua aqui es fatal ) La jarra es cómoda, ligera y fácil de rellenar gracias a la tapa de apertura rápida. El diseño cabe bien en la puerta de la nevera y el medidor que indica cuándo cambiar el filtro es muy útil para no olvidarse. También me encanta que los filtros duran bastante y se instalan en segundos. Desde que la uso, he reducido el consumo de botellas de plástico, así que también es un plus para el bolsillo y para el medio ambiente. En resumen, una jarra eficaz, práctica y fiable, ideal para mejorar la calidad del agua diaria sin complicaciones. ¡Muy recomendable!
