As a young person with multiple chronic illnesses, this was a transition i was very hesitant to do for feat of judgement. HOWEVER with that being said, EVERYONE deserves to have quality of life and I can easily say that this has been able to give me some type of quality of life back! I can go on walks again and if I get winded I can put the brakes on and sit to rest! Its super comfortable as a transporter and a walker. It is very ergonomically correct for our bodies. The height is adjustable. This is super easy to put together out of the box. Took me less than 20 min. I LOVE the 360⁰ rollator wheels. They do great on most terrains! I can do trail walks, sidewalks, even sand! It's lightweight enough to where I can pick it up myself. Im very light, only 110 pounds but this so sturdy it can hold a few hundred pounds. I love the bag at the bottom to store my purse or water. And the Cane holder attachment is amazing since I use both! I love the vibrancy of the color, I got purple! It's easy to use, doesn't get stuck on things like a normal wheelchair or walker. I highly recommend for anyone who uses a walker or other mobility aid!

Purchased this for my 87 yr/o father-in-law. He has trouble walking and loses his balance often. He was using the metal cheap one that has two wheels in front and adding tennis balls to the back. He's stubborn and wouldn't allow us to get him the cool wheelchair walker when he actually needed it. Now that he's in assisted living, he loves it. He can sit when he's tired of walking and loves using the brakes. We love the multi-use capabilities of the chair/walker. Took me 20 min to assemble and it was pretty easy to follow along. Sturdy, affordable and it's great all together. He loves the drink holder so he can put his coffee.

I’m 76 years-old with artificial knees and severe osteoarthritis in hips. I need the “Elenker Rollator-Walker with Transport Chair” for the out-of-doors to take walks around the neighborhood, attend grandson’s baseball games, and travel. The adjustable handlebars are the best feature. When adapted to my height, they enable me to walk with my back straight while pushing the chair. The hand brakes work very well. The chair fits nicely into the trunk of our Toyota Camry. It folds easily but doesn’t leave much room for luggage. My husband has no trouble lifting it. While the walker/chair looks very sturdy and is advertised as suitable for indoors and outdoors, it’s not well-suited to bumpy surfaces, uneven sidewalks, and potholes. The non-pneumatic wheels are listed as 10-inch, but they only measured about 9 inches each. My rollator slightly pulls to the left, so it takes a little concentration to keep it on the “straight and narrow”. The seat is adequate when used as a transporter or taking a brief rest from walking. However, the seat is too small for extended sitting. The width measured 17 ½ inches. I’m 5’4” with long legs and found the 10-inch depth of the seat to be too short. The back support was very comfortable. The seat measures 23 inches from the ground and cannot be adjusted for height. A nice feature is the extra set of handlebars. They are placed on the sides of the seat, aiding the occupant in sitting and standing. The seatbelt is an important safety feature. Be sure to use it when riding, or you may be dumped onto the pavement when a sudden bump trips up the chair. The cane holder is plastic and was already broken when my husband opened the box. The cup holder is nice but sticks out from the frame, so it may need to be detached when going through indoor tight spaces. Overall, I really like the Elenker walker/transport chair, but must proceed with caution when using it.

Everything comes up positive so far. The machine was delivered two days earlier than predicted but it took that and a couple more before this 90-year old found the time to put it together. I first watched the videos in your ad once again which included a great assembly instructional video. After that it probably took about an hour to fully assemble it ( old guys don't move very fast). Once put together, I ran it through a bunch of movements and it is smooth, easy to push and gives me the confidence to overcome my balance problems. My hobby these days is photography which I mostly do from my car window. I anticipate this machine will give me much more ability to walk, sit to take photos and when I wish to carry an extra camera, I have the side bag. I THINK i'M GOING TO LIKE IT!

This walker/wheelchair is strong--rated at a maximum of 300 lbs.--, well made, well packaged, and only had one real error in the written instructions. The error is in STEP 3 which addresses mounting of the front wheel assemblies. It states to "secure it with short knob". In fact it must be secured with the (2Xlong plum hex shape knob) as described in the "Accessories List". In STEP 4 it states to "secure rear leg with long knob". But in fact it should say to use the "2xstar shape knobs". In STEP 5 it states to "secure it with short knob". That is sort of true, but if you follow the instructions--which are not possible--you would have already used the "short knob(s)", but they are too short for STEP 3. What they should have written is to use the "2xshort plum hex shape knobs" to maintain continuity with the Accessories List. Since this is a set of Chinese provided instructions you have to take any written direction with a healthy dose of salt, and don't be too upset with their errors, which are all too common. The part that matters is that the walker/wheelchair is sturdy, well made, and works well when we tested it with my 185 lb. body to test it prior to my father-in-law's arrival from overseas in a couple of weeks. NOTE to Manufacturer: Suggest you TEST instructions with a person who reads and speaks English to actually assemble your hardware before you print the assembly instructions you send with the walker/wheelchair.

I bought this for a trip to European cities with mostly cobblestone streets. This walker/wheelchair did great on that terrain. I love that I can use it as a walker, sit when needed, and it can be a comfortable wheelchair when I am unable to walk. Pretty easy to assemble. Very comfortable to push as a walker and comfortable to sit in. My son said it was easy for him to push me in it. You can take it right to the airplane door. It folds up. I am a worrier so I bought a separate strap but that is not needed. I love the larger detachable basket. Since I am a prime target to pocketbook stealing due to my infirmity; I love that I can put my pocketbook in the basket and it zips in front with my legs over it so it can’t be stolen! My ability to walk has detoriated so a rollator no longer met my needs. I did not want to buy a wheelchair as I want to walk when I can. This combo walker/wheelchair is ingenious, sturdy, and a great value for the money.

Well made & very sturdy - hard to push when a 220 lb person is seated as others have said. I have found if you push forward & pull back a couple of times it turns much easier. I found the leg rests are really short & I am unable to use them. This makes it into just another rollator walker. I’m disappointed as I am 5’7” & well under the weight limit. Otherwise comfortable for an hour or so. Not meant for long periods of time as the seat could be an inch or 2 wider. I’m really unhappy that after putting the entire walker together- I found that the seat height (floor to seat) is only 18” and not 23” as stated in the compact size diagram showing dimensions. How very disappointing. It is very low for a tall person- if it was raised 2 or 3 inches the leg rests may work. It does seem to be well built & strong. The seat is narrow(depth) but that seems fine & I like that it’s similar to a sling. A few minor adjustments to seat height & width & it would be fantastic!!!

We have had this Elenker rollator walker & transport chair for over a year now and this is a review of how I use it. I currently weigh 172 pounds and when I could stand up straight, I was about 6 feet. I have used it as a walker when I go to the clinic when my wife drops me off in the handicapped area where I walk inside and then carefully transition to sitting down in the seat, after setting the brakes, and then, since we do not have the foot rests installed, I’m trying to keep the weight to a minimum for my wife, I can shuffle my feet to go into the clinic and check in while she parks the car. When she pushes me from behind, I need to hold my legs up and that gets tiring, being careful not to get my legs sucked under the seat or slow her down to my shuffle speed. The front wheels handle door thresholds better than my old transport chair and it help a lot to cross the thresholds at an angle, one wheel at a time. I like how the arm rests lift up so that you can get your belly up to the table when you are eating in a restaurant, so you do not spill food. We have a small SUV, and it folds up nicely so all four seats in the car are useable. Sitting in it for a long time is uncomfortable for me. But I haven't looked for a cushion to fix that. I stay seated in the transport chair when I am at the doctor, and it is maneuverable enough to get through the doorways after they remove one of the patient chairs. My wife comes with me into the doctor's office just to possibly add more info to the discussion, so she pushes me in.
