Great Rod - arrived with tip broken
I like the rod, however, it arrived with the tip broken off. Fortunately, I have a repair kit and think that I can put a new rod tip on....no worries

Broke on a 6 lb. Cuda
Good looking rod. Had it for 3 months and used it 4 times. Last trip it broke 3 inches from the tip while reeling in a 6 lb. barracuda using a 3000 series reel and 20# braided line. Snapped like a dry twig. Rod was rated for 15-30 lbs. Amazon will not accept returns after 60 days. I have 11 other Penn rods purchased elsewhere including 2 other Mariners that I never had issues with. I will be more selective on the Amazon purchases I make, as I believe their storage and transport conditions are probably to blame for this rod's brittleness.
