This is shave ice is awesome!! Just work as the store we visit. I try to get the texture like store and now I know just add little more milk to get the mian mian texture! This shave ice is not like the regular crush ice is really shaving the ice with the mian mian texture. Also homemade ice always the best because you know what you put in. Oh the ice won’t finished shave it all it will have leftover is not big deal still edible. My kids love it. Especially for this heat! I also get the extra ice mold from Amazon so can make more at once.Easy to clean. Just rinse off and dry and wait for the next time.

This machine is easy to charge, operate and clean. The included ice molds each hold a half-cup of liquid, so that will give you an idea of how much liquid to prepare beforehand. My first attempt at making snow ice did not work as hoped. I mixed yogurt with water, but the machine did not produce snow ribbons or flakes, only shaved ice particles. I'm going to keep experimenting to find the right formula. But no complaints about the shaved ice particles. I drizzled sweet strawberry syrup on the ice, and placed chopped fresh strawberries, mini-mochi bits, and a scoop of ice cream. Delicious! And clean up is super easy. Just take it apart, rinse (but not the power section) and air dry. I'm very satisfied with this machine.

When I first bought the ice shaver, the ice was very fluffy and soft. However, after using it for 3 to 6 weeks of continuous use, the ice started becoming more coarse. If there was a way to change the blade, it would have been better. I have used other ice shavers before. The good thing about this one is that the ice comes in a mold, which helps make the ice softer. However, it’s less convenient than an ice shaver that uses ice cubes. I have used a different ice shaver that takes small ice cubes that your refrigerator makes. That type of machine is much more convenient if you already have a refrigerator that makes ice. But if you don’t, then this would be the better option because the bigger ice mold helps create a softer, fluffier shaved ice. Other than that, there are no differences between this type of shaved ice machine and one that uses ice cubes.

It was super easy to figure out and I really like that it's rechargeable. I have 4 kids and they all love this thing. With the 2 ice cubes you make in the silicone trays, I easily split them up to be enough between the 4 of them!
