Does upholstery have to be leather? My seats aren’t!

L1 is for leather, I think you'd need Gtechniq I1 smart fabric for upholstery seats.

How would i rub this in? With a brush or a cloth?

You can use a microfibre cloth or a foam applicator, then allow to dry, buff any remaining residue off if needs be.

Can this be used on leather covered dashboards and keep them matt and UV protected? What about ordinary vinyl lower dashboards and door cards

You can get vinyl cleaner that also protects. Why would you want to use leather protector? Auto Glym do some great vinyl cleaner makes it Matt too
