TUM TUM Tippy Up Free Flow Sippy Cup (No Valve), Sippy Cup for Toddlers, 200ml, BPA Free (Kev Koala S3)

Highly recommend! This is my second time round using these cups, loved them for my first child so bought them again for my second. I was recommended to use valve-free straw cups from a speech & language therapist to help the development of the muscles that are used for speech, and these were the only cup that seemed to fit the bill. Used from age 6 months both times. I found both children figured out using the straw really quickly, just kept offering it and meal times and they were fine after a day or two. Really easy for babies/toddlers to hold themselves. The weighted straw is fantastic for enabling them to drink at any angle. They’ve been thrown out of prams and off highchairs and never had breakages. The cup isn’t leakproof with it not having a valve but I find it’s not too bad to deal with when you know that to begin with. The glow in the dark lid is particularly helpful when trying to find your toddlers drink in the middle of the night!

One of my son’s favourite cups. He has one at home and the same for nursery, he’s still learning to drink from an open cup so it can get very messy, so this is a great drinking cup as it doesn’t spill. It’s very durable (my son will throw things A LOT), the sliding lid can come off but it snaps right back into place. It’s not too big so it fits in bags nicely, cute design and colour, neither have washed off or faded away (minus the few marks from my son throwing it), we have had it for over a year which is why we brought another to just leave one at nursery. great value for money.

My son has just turned 1 and I bought this a month ago and wanted to wait before giving a review. My son would not entertain a sippy cup ... Only drank milk from his tommee tipped bottles and nothing else. We've tried tommee tippee sippy cups, nuby, stuff from Aldi, lidl, munchkin u name it! Nothing worked! I got this cup as a last ditch effort and after a week of making the flappy lid thing a game he started chewing the straw, he then realized water comes out and experimented with drawing water and then dribbling it out ... I didn't mind it was PROGRESS!! Now as u can see from the video he has started drinking from it properly about 2 weeks ago! The weighted straw means he can drink lying down as well and it's not a problem, the straw is easy to drink from not valve and is very easy to clean with a thin enough straw cleaner. If we can get him to drink milk from it now I will buy more of these so he can have one for water one for milk and one for juice! Great value for money and just all out brilliant! I dunno if it's anything to do with this product but my son has shown interest in drinking from a glass or cup that I'm drinking out of ... He has started experimenting with drinking from a glass now as well ... I'm so happy 😁 ideal product for anyone with fussy drinkers!! Make it a game and give it a month .. trust me! Size is ideal for his age and the cup is strong! It gets dropped and thrown and doesn't leak, only whats in the straw will leak and it's only a few drops if that :D

Finding a drinking cup for a toddler that's been difficult and feels like an impossible task to get one that doesn't leak or spill. This one is the closest I've come to finding such an item but isn't without flaws. Firstly, the designs are lovely - simple but cute which my little one loves. It has a little weight attached to the straw which allows for all the liquid to actually get drunk which I feel is a game changer with straw cups. It also prevents huge spills which is brilliant news for any parent. The whole product can be put in the dishwasher which is handy also, and it can come apart for efficient washing. Unfortunately, the flaws I've found have been largely irritating. You have to put the lid on only slightly tightened otherwise when you open the lid the liquid comes shooting out at you, which means that if your child is running around with it and knocking it etc, it can loosen quickly and then lead to the lid coming off. You can tighten it pretty well, but this can lead to more liquid explosions so it's a bit of a risk either way which isn't ideal. It does also leak a little when tipped upside down but thankfully it's only a small trickleand will eventually stop itself. This is pretty expected as the liquid already in the straw has to go somewhere, but the attached weight prevents too much liquid escaping. It's nowhere near as bad as every other cup I've tried for leaking though, so it's just a flaw I've accepted as the cup itself is a brilliant product. Overall, this is the best cup I've found so far for an active toddler and is a good price for what it is. It's one of the better designed ones on a budget and is super easy for little hands to use.

I wasn't sure what to expect of the TUM TUM Sippy Cup when I first gave it to my son. He was newly 6 months old and I was introducing solids along with water to prevent dehydration. I had heard that a free flow cup with a straw was better for their teeth, language, and overall development with table skills, so I was happy to see a fun character version. I thought I'd have to teach my son how to use this cup, but I was surprised to find it didn't take him very long to figure it out himself. The first time I offered the cup he successfully took a big gulp. I bought the Kev the Koala one, which is such a cute design, and my son loves using it! The handles are a thoughtful addition, especially for younger babies who are only just learning how to bring food/drinks to their own mouths. I like that the lid flips over the straw as it helps to prevent any spills. For the most part, spills are unlikely to happen unless the cup is turned completely upside down. When cleaning, the straw can be a bit fiddly, and I wish the product itself came with cleaning brushes as it seems pretty imperative. It does take forever for any liquid in the straw to dry and as a result this is probably why a lot of people are having issues with mold. So far I haven't had this problem, but I have only been using this cup with filtered water, time will tell on that front. This cost me approx. £10, which I think is reasonable. It's a very simple mechanism that works extremely well. The weighted straw is genius and makes me wish all straws were weighted as it is effortless to pull liquid through no matter what angle the cup is in. It's a nice size, perfect for my now 8 month olds hands. The neutral colours help to reduce stimulation at meal times, too. It's a great cup and I'll be buying more.

These are amazing! I have a 7 month old, trying to transition from an open cup to a straw. We have other weighted straw cups which he couldn’t seem to get the hang of, Tum Tum was recommended and straight away he was sucking up water! So easy to drink from compared to other brands. I would say there is some leakage from when he tips it up but it’s just whatever is left in the straw. They are appealing to kids, he knows instantly what it is when I offer. I think they are great quality and has definitely stood up to him throwing and banging it about. The handle seem easier to hold than some others we have tried.

Had this a week now and my daughter loves it! She wasn't really drinking out of other cups but id heard good things about these cups so thought we would give it a go. When we first got it within half an hour she had drunk 200mls! She carries it round with her and sips all the time. It doesnt leak like other cups and is a perfect size for a one year old. This cup has been thrown off the high chair countless times and is still in one piece, I'm sure it's not indestructible so will definitely buy another as a spare but it's held up so far. Comes apart for easy cleaning.

We have used this cup for a few months now. Our little one has swallowing issues so has carobel in his fluids. I needed something he could still get the fluids out of as we tried to step away from bottle. We took this one to an appointment where the speech and language therapist was happy for us to use it. It's weighted, he holds it in front and tints head down to sip instead of tipping it. He drinks out of it easily even when the fluids are honey consistency. My disappointment comes when I get covered in juice everytime you open the straw bit. At first I thought it was because of the carobel but I've tried without and still does it. It literally pours out, not ideal when your out and about getting water/juice everywhere! So we leave the straw open and then juice spills out on floor when it's left on its side (so you can't really win) Secondly the weight has fallen off a few times now. Probably from where he's shaken his juice cup or launched it across room as toddlers do. Lastly Cleaning is a bit of a faff and you need like a straw cleaner to keep the weight and the straw clean. That being said it's one of the easiest toddler bottles I've used when comes to cleaning! It's a good cup just take tissues/wipes to catch the fluids in when you open the straw or you'll be covered!

Tasse absolument géniale. Ma fille ne voulait boire dans aucune autre tasse avant celle-ci, et maintenant elle s’en sert toute seule sans problème. La paille lestée permet de boire même quand la tasse est penchée, et le système anti-fuite fonctionne parfaitement. La tasse est bien pensée pour les petits mains : légère, facile à tenir et à nettoyer. Le design est sympa, solide, et la paille se démonte pour un lavage complet. Produit indispensable pour l’apprentissage de l’autonomie. Très satisfaite, je recommande sans hésiter.

Aggiorno la recensione: acquistate 3 tazze in totale, l’orso rosa, la volpe e l’orso che si illumina la notte, non ne possiamo fare a meno! Saranno cadute a terra dal tavolo un milione di volte, sono indistruttibili! Questa è davvero la prima volta che mi trovo bene, altissima qualità e mia figlia le adora, da quando le usa beve tantissimo e non si fa la doccia a tavola! Consigliatissimo da una madre non più disperata!

Our family has tried a lot of baby and toddler cups, and this one is amazing! My youngest is 16 months old and doesn’t really like drinking due to some factors (gross motor delay, lower tone) that make it more challenging. We taught him how to drink with a honey bear style cup, but couldn’t get him to drink more than a sip or two per meal. We tried every cup: straw cups, open cups, 360 cups, hard and soft spout sippy . . . He was dehydrated from drinking about an ounce of water per day. I heard of this cup from a mom of a little one with a physical disability as being super easy to drink from. My guy took to it immediately. He now will drink a little after every bite and takes about 2.5 ounces every meal and more throughout the day. This cup has really saved us and I’d highly recommend it to anyone with a kiddo who’s been harder to feed and hydrate. On top of this cup convincing my kid not to dehydrate himself, it is genuinely a great cup. It is very easy to clean. The valve-free straw that makes drinking easy also makes for easy cleaning. It’s easy to take the cup apart and reassemble. It is very sturdy and will hold up to drops. It also is surprisingly leakproof. I expected increased leaking as a trade off for the valve free straw, but we haven’t had any issues. I also really like the design. We have the koala; it is super cute and the grey makes it very gender-neutral and easy to pass on to a sibling. My only qualm with this cup is that the handles make it difficult to impossible to put into a cup holder. I wouldn’t deduct a star over it - as most trainer cups have the same issue and the handles are great for the baby - but it would be nice to have them shaped a little differently. Still, I would recommend the Tum Tum over any cup we've tried!
