Why so expensive ? Grocery store has 65 cents a can. Double here almost

Other items, like the Contadina Tomato Paste I am selling here are sold by third-party sellers, and although they can be more expensive, they are usually an item not widely available elsewhere. To make them available we have to buy them, pay shipping to you, pay Amazon fees, and make enough profit to make it worth doing. So you have the choice of going to the store, or conveniently ordering at home for a little more.

Yes, although it is not stated on the label, this product is 100% gluten-free.

Are the cans BPA free?

Non bpa and peeled tomatoes they use steam for tomatoes which helps

sweet and sour sauce?

This is tomato paste with some herbs added. It is not sweet and sour. I use it to make spaghetti sauce ("marinara"). Works great for what I need.
