My First Piano Lessons: Fun, Easy-to-Follow Instructions for Kids Paperback – July 18, 2023

I am teacher my daughter piano but have forgotten a lot of the fundamentals. This book is so easy to follow and has short lessons perfect for small kids.

Our 6 year old taught herself to play the piano with this book after being put off for a year by a bad teacher and an even worse book. This book is excellent. The way it explains the concepts, the graphics, the songs, it’s almost perfect.I just wish it spent more time having letters on the notes, and used a staff from the beginning — we had to draw one ourselves on the first few pages!

Works great for my 5-12 yr old grandsons to learn piano on their own. They are already learning!

Pretty good, my nephew says they use it for their 5yr old. It seems simple but would think it be better for an older child like 8yrs old. But Great for beginners.

Great for not only teaching me (a high schooler), but also my middle school aged brother! It teaches things in an easily digestible way that I’m sure kids younger than us could also learn from this book! I went from not being able to read sheet music to reading it as I play in about three days! Love this book, man.

We are still doing the lessons, but this was so easy and fun to help teach my son how to play the piano.

I took piano lessons as a kid and absorbed nothing. But this book is thorough, catchy, and easy to digest. I love playing through it with my toddler. I think it is written in a way that will set a good foundation for understanding how to READ music.
