At Best Cuckold was recorded at Tiny Telephone, the analog-friendly San Francisco studio run by John Vanderslice (whose Bowie tribute Avi contributed to), engineered by Jay Pellicci (The Dodos, Deerhoof, Sleater-Kinney) and Nicolas Vernhes at Rare Book Room studio in Brooklyn.
