e.l.f. Translucent Mattifying Powder, Translucent, 0.13 Ounce, 2 Pack

I just received this product so these are initial impressions. The package is a bit smaller than I had envisioned, but It looks like enough powder to last a while. I found the lid to have a sticker on one side so you can open it as if it has a hinge, and that seemed useful so I haven't removed it. The powder arrives with a clear insert in the container with holes in it so you can tap the powder out a little at a time into the lid or onto the small puff applicator it comes with. The insert came with a clear sticker over it that was a little hard to locate the edges of and remove. You may need a magnifying glass to find the edges if you are of a certain age or just have bad eyesight. The insert isn't removable, which was slightly disappointing because I planned to fill a refillable applicating brush with the powder and I had to tap out a bunch to do it instead of scooping powder out of the main compartment. It wasn't hard, I just wasn't expecting to do it that way.I applied the powder on my face today after not having washed or blotted it for about 8 hrs. My face was slightly shiny mostly because I wear a daily moisturizer w/SPF. The powder seems to have matted all the shine but not left a dry powdery finish on my face the way bare minerals sometimes does. It hasn't settled into any lines or formed creases yet either. It did however leave me looking slightly pale or ashy. My instinct would be to blush or bronze over this product. So it isn't completely clear as I was hoping. I have what I would call a golden beige skin tone (a light expression of olive skin tone.) with some reddish broken capillaries around my nose & such. I don't think this product would work well for anyone much darker than I am. Time and more experience will tell if this powder keeps my face from shining all day, if I just need to use less to look less ashy, and if it will settle badly into lines and creases. Oh, also, the product is lightly scented. I have asthma and usually cannot tolerate many fragrances. So far this one isn't bothering me.

Omg i love this product by elf. Let me beging by saying this is my first trying this product and i love it leaves your face nice and smooth and gives it that perfect last touch. I love that it dosent make ur face look smushy or dosent look to thick.it has a very long lasting effect it dosent smear or smushy. Just a great long lasting product fits perfect to take on the go and great to cover the little imperfections thru out the day item just as described in the sellers page and prompt delivery guaranteed such a great product for the price you pay thank you!!!

This translucent matifying powder by e.l.f does exactly as you'd assume it should based off the title. I know I am speaking to a lot of ladies when I say that it's important to find products that both do the trick and are inexpensive to add to your forever collection. This is that product. I've tried many products including ones that were a bit on the expensive side and this works just as well and in some cases, it works better. This is my second time ordering this product. The first time it arrived cracked but I used it anyway. This time it was perfect. I will continue to order this every time I'm about to run out because it has become an essential part of my daily makeup routine!

Great economical product. I use a lot of expensive high end makeup but I have not found a powder I like better to set my makeup & blot any shiny areas. Lightweight & effective.

Even tho this doesn’t last long, is so far my favorite translucent powder ever! I need to order more!

its nice, but could work a little better at preventing shine. better than nothing, and definitely can compare w the high end brands ive tired that cost upwards of $40 for the same amount of product. I use this to wear everyday, on special occasions, I do bust out the expensive stuff bc it does work slightly better....

So far, I am not disappointed in this product. I read reviews from other websites before purchasing it. My skin is staying matte and shine free but it hasn't hit that horrible New York City unbearable heat as of yet although it is warm. I hope it continues to keep the oil at bay and allow me to not worry about shiny skin this summer. Have a great day!!!

Works better than expected and I used after my loose powder to touch up. Didn't cake up but it made my complexion look lighter. Good quality and matte texture, so maybe will try a different shade. Thank you for the super fast shipment!
