Great replacement to our trailer t-stat. Easy install and worked great.
This was an easy to install perfect replacement for the cheap one my travel trailer came with. Very accurate, easy to set and worked amazing. Smaller and compact which was perfect because the wall I had to mount it on was about 4” of space. Bright display to see at night or dim lighting. Went well with the trailer and looked clean and simple.

Perfect replacement for a camper with furnace
Wanted a quality simple thermostat to control the furnace on my Keystone Hideout camper. I read other reviews and many had used it for this purpose. I removed the original Suburban thermostat and installed this in it's place. Easy 2 wire installation and 2 screws to attach to wall. Works as it should and has an easy to read display and an on off switch.

Perfect RV replacment
Bought to replace the cheapo plastic furnace heater control in my $50k trailer! I have furrion chill cube AC, which has its own separate controls and remote, so the furnace thermostat was just the hydro-flame cheapy kind found in old tent trailers. Two wires and two AAA batteries (included) and I now have backlit temp thermostat that shows current cabin temp and turns the heater on and off. What more can I say, if you have heat only thermostat, just buy this! Took 10 minutes to install.

Honeywell Home PRO 1000 Non-Progtrammable Thermostat - Digital, Reliable, and Top-Rated
Honeywell is unsurpassed in the manufacture of thermostats and many other types of control devices. The Honeywell Home PRO 1000 Non-Programmable Thermostat is an outstanding product! It is for heat only. Honeywell makes other models which are designed for full HVAC control (heating, cooling, etc.) This home model is designed to be used for hardwired and/or battery backup operation. Important Note: Many older homes and apartments have only a two-wire electrical connection for thermostats. Many new thermostats cannot be installed for two-wire infrastructure. HOWEVER, this Honeywell thermostat can be installed on a th In ree-wire set-up (without using a battery, if that's what you choose), OR on a two-wire set-up if you include battery power. I advocate including a back-up battery. My new Honeywell thermostat came with a battery. ONLY A PROFESSIONAL should install this product. This thermostat comes with a 2-year professional warranty, void if installed by homeowner. I searched the entire Internet, and Amazon had the lowest price for this Honeywell product anywhere.

Unit temperature reading can be off by 2 to 4 degrees
The unit was easy to install. Works well in my RV. The only issue I have found is the actual temperature reading is off by 2 degrees. This was verified by a digital temperature and Humidity sensor and a Sling Psychrometer. It functions well and controls the temperature. Due to the actual temperature reading 2 degrees above the actual temperature. You may have to adjust your setting accordingly.

Perfect
I purchased a house in July. Now that it got cold and the heater was hooked up for the cold months, I noticed that the old Honeywell (horizontal) thermostat buttons didn't work very well (you had to push them really hard and sometimes they would get stuck so the temp would go up or down by itself because you had to push the buttons so hard - this must be common with age on these things because at the apartment I lived in before I bought my house, the same thing happened with that Honeywell thermostat, they replaced it and the new one lasted the 5 years I lived there without issue and was still doing great when I moved and that one was used for the heat and a/c). Anyhow, I wanted a vertical thermostat because that is what the home originally had, I also preferred to stick with Honeywell because that's the brand I am familiar with, and I wanted this particular style because it is just a simple straightforward thermostat, no bells and whistles that I didn't need or want (this one has heat on/off and up button to increase the heat, down button to decrease the heat, the screen shows the current temp at all times without the green backlight and when you push the buttons, the green backlight comes on for about 5-10 seconds and shuts off). The horizontal one that was installed looked horrible because they didnt fill the gaps above or below the thermostat. I purchased this one and it came fairly quick (about a week, I think) and it was rediculously easy to install (maybe 10 minutes and that is including patching the two screw holes they made to put the horizontal thermostat and painting the wall around the new one). There were only two wires for mine, so if you can match the white wire to the "w" and the black wire to the "b" on the back of the thermostat (and whatever other wires you have to the corresponding letter on the back of the thermostat), you should be good to go. It came with instructions, but I didn't even read them, it's one of those straight forward common sense things really. The heating and cooling place wanted to charge me $150 and when I told him that seemed a bit steep, he said he would do it for $90 to "help me out since I'm a single lady with no help". I bought this thermostat for $25 and helped myself out by saving $65 and I'm confident that as long as I don't push the buttons like the world is ending, then I should get at least 5 years of life out of it like I did with the one at my apartment, and probably much longer since this one is for heat only.

Reliable and easy to install
We have a water boiler heating system with thermostats in each room. Unfortunately, the old thermostats looked to be from the 1970's i need it to be replaced. These were an inexpensive option, and I thought to give them a try, that was two years ago. After all this time, i've had not a single issue with any of them. They're very easy to install. They are accurate and the batteries last at least two years. The only negative thing that I can say about them is that the screws that tighten down on the thermostat wires could be better. A couple of them, we're a little difficult, two connect firmly. But other than that, as said, I have no other issues. For what these cost in my experience with them over the past 2 years, I'd easily recommend them to anyone. Looking for a budget digital thermostat that can be relied upon.

Good, basic thermostat
Had to replace my ancient dial thermostat, and while it's somewhat of a culture shock, this has been easy to use and seems to work well. It's a basic upgrade without going crazy with all the bells and whistles that are available today. I plan to have the batteries replaced with each year's furnace service so that they will never be an issue. I am very pleased with this purchase.
