How do I use the freeze-dried food?

Our freeze-dried raw Dinner Morsels can be fed dry or rehydrated. If fed dry, please ensure your pet is drinking plenty of water at mealtime. When rehydrating, we suggest using cool or warm (never hot) water or broth prior to feeding.

How do I store Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried food?

Our freeze-dried foods are shelf stable and can stay in your pantry until date of expiration. If the food is rehydrated, leftover portions can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.

Can my cat also eat Stella & Chewy's Meal Mixers?

Cats are obligate carnivores, which means they only eat meat. Our Meal Mixers contain fruits and vegetables, which are a great addition to a dog's diet. We do not advise feeding Meal Mixers to your cat and stick to our feline friendly recipes.

Should I switch up recipes? If so, how often?

If your cat doesn’t have any food allergies, switching recipes can help prevent intolerances from developing. Feed 1 flavor for 2-6 weeks, then switch to a different flavor for 2-6 weeks, etc. No transition needed between flavors for average cat.

How do I introduce Dinner Morsels into my cat's diet?

Introduce Dinner Morsels slowly as a topper, working up to the full serving while adjusting current food to avoid overfeeding. As a complete and balanced meal, it will be necessary to transition slowly.
