Excellent value
Pro: This bridle rope is very well made and features a permanent rating tag. This tag should be mandated by law, but you only find that on better quality ropes. It packs very easily and comes in a nice storage bag. Based on this purchase, I'll be buying more Miolle gearCon: Company claims that this rope is suitable for a tree saver are untrue. It's inconceivable that they do not know that. Yes, it could be used as a tree attachment, but it WILL damage the tree. Tree savers are made of wide strap, not rope. They also claim that it can be used as a tow rope, and this again is a very bad idea. Tow ropes should be at least 20 feet long to prevent vehicle collision. 10 feet is just too close unless you are only moving a short distance at very low speed.Final words: I gave this BRIDLE rope 5 stars as a BRIDLE rope. In general the quality and value of the Miolle line is very good, however, making stupid claims reflects badly on Miolle, and they really should clean that up.

Good short tow rope and/or bridle rope. (Obviously not a tree saver as listed)
Miolle Tree Saver Tow Strap 1/2" x10' - Bridle Recovery Rope W.L.L. -9000 lbs - Heavy Duty Winch Extension - Emergency Off Road Recovery Rope (Grey, 1/2x10).Decent short tow rope or bridle rope. Well made, reasonably flexible and good specifcations re: breaking strain etc.At the time of this review the seller's listing on Amazon states that this is a tree saver, clearly a tree saver is wide and flat and this is not. This is not a tree saver. Nowhere on the packaging or item itself mention that it could be usead as a tree saver, I think it is just a listing error.Thank you for reading my review and looking at my photos of this product. I hope you found it helpful!REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.

Not a tree saver
Tree savers are a must have piece of recovery equipment to keep in your vehicle if you off road a lot, however, this isn't a tree saver. Sure you could strap it around a tree, hook a winch to it and pull yourself out but, your going to more than like cause damage to the tree. What this actually is, is a bridle intended to distribute the load to multiple tow points on the vehicle and it does a good job at it. One thing to keep in mind is, that not all vehicle have more than one tow points on either end so it may or may not work for you. Overall, this is a sturdy bridle and I'd recommend it.

Strong Tow Rope
We live in a rural area on an acreage and I’m always having to tow or lift something. I have several winches, and some hand-cranked come-alongs and block and tackle setups. This strong rope comes in handy! Especially when I don’t want to damage a living tree, or put myself and my equipment in harm’s way by using a chain that could snap and whip. This is a softer, safer solution. It is made of woven polyethylene fiber and will bear 9,000 lbs.

Used it to hook up to a tree and winch my truck out of a muddy creek..
The 'Miolle Tree Saver Tow Strap' I ordered has made the difference on a couple of vehicle recoveries I been on. I've used it to hook up to a tree and winch my truck out of a muddy creek, helped my son get his Jeep unstuck from the same area, and even used it to drag a downed pine tree out of my yard. This hook-up strap is strong and durable, it's made of high-quality super strong polyester, has a working load label of 9,000 pounds (although it handled more than that with the downed tree I had to drag away), and I'd gladly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable heavy-duty hook-up strap for their recovery kit..

Decent bridle rope
Appears to be a decent bridle rope. We occasionally off road with some friends and you never know what might happen. I have not had a reason to use this yet (thankfully), but it’s good to have with the other recovery gear. Compared to my friends recovery gear from a big name brand, we couldn’t see much of a difference. Hopefully when it does come time to use it there won’t be any issues. Should any concerns arise, I’ll come back and update this review.

Tow bridle, well made, sturdy
Miolle Tree Saver Tow Strap 1/2" x10' - Bridle Recovery RopeDistributes the load between both hooks on my front bumper, used to pull out small trees and rescue RV’s mired in soft ground; works well, connects/disconnects easily. Wrapped around conveniently high on a tree trunk, levers them over and pulls them out nicely. We’re talking about getting rid of junk trees, not saving them.A ‘Tree Saver’ is intended to be used around a tree used as an anchor point, to prevent damage to the tree. It seems to me that a strap, wider than this ½” rope, would do this more effectively, but that’s not what I need.
