does the job

This product was intended for use to cover a small bruise on my cheekbone. I'm afraid it gave less coverage than my Max Factor pan stick, and was nowhere near thick enough. Very disappointed for the price as I thought it would cover birthmarks etc.

The claims dermablend are making about this product are simply untrue, it does not conceal tattoos. This may be due to my pale skin which means I cannot naturally cover my tattoo without it looking like I have an orange splodge on my skin! Disappointed in the product but received the item relatively quickly.

The coverage is amazing, it fully covered a relatively fresh tattoo. Definitely set it with some powder, and perhaps get a shade slightly lighter than the one that you think that you need. When I first purchased this at a store, I bought the color that immediately matched and was rather surprised to find that the color did slightly change throughout the day. I’m happy I ordered a lighter shade here, because it fully matches my skin. A few notes: 1. Definitely set it was powder, it really really needs to be fully set with powder before you try and move around for the day. 2 . You can’t really blend it with a sponge, your fingers, or a brush as it removes some of the product, and you lose coverage. 3. Because the product is so thick, it rubs off on any clothing that you might be wearing, even with set powder. If you are purchasing this product to cover your tattoo for work, school, or from your parents, be aware that it will rub off on any clothing and then it will be obvious that you are wearing make up to cover your tattoo.

This foundation stick is my go-to for covering imperfections and blemishing without worrying about it transferring onto my clothes or my husband's. I'm a light-skinned black person, and it is very hard to find good products for us, but Dermablend is definitely my go-to brand. It blends seamlessly into my skin (and especially my neck - some of y'all know what I'm talking about here), providing full coverage that lasts all day. Plus, it is sweat-resistant which means it holds up well against sweat and humidity here in NOLA.
