They have the upper case letter on one card corner and the lower case letter printed on the matching card's corner. The cards are strong, sturdy, and have a glossy finish. It's a fun, but easy game to play with the kids and even with adults. Simple rules: just place cards face down, and then try to match either by chance or hopefully by memory! Two turn overs per turn, but if not a match, simply turn them back over to face down and the play goes to the next person. Could be played as a memory test with one player as well. Well worth the low price.
