Works great with a R5
This is a good quality product which allows using a R5 for many hours when paired with a high capacity v mount battery. This is works very well for recording long videos when paired with an external monitor. It fits the R5 battery compartment very well and the design allows the battery door to be securely closed. The coiled lead is of reasonable length but a little short if the battery is mounted far from the camera.

Violation
I feel absolutely violated!! Tell me how has this randomly stopped working after a few use. Small rig you charged me way more than this product is worth only for it to randomly die whilst setting up on a job. What if i didn’t have my regular batteries with me?! Make sense of that? How long is the warranty? I need a new one because this is ridiculous especially from you of all companies!

Power not enough for R5C
It's not working with R5C, camera gives a warning for low battery.

Bei Dummy Akkus ist das immer ein gewisses Risiko, ob sie für das individuell verwendete Setup funktionieren oder nicht, das kann individuell ganz unterschiedlich sein. Bei mir funktioniert der Dummy Akku Gott sei Dank. Mein Setup: Canon R5C, Dummyakku mit D-Tap Anschluss verbunden mit SMALLRIG V Mount Battery VB99 SE, 99Wh / 6800mAh. An dem VB99 wird neben der R5C auch gleichzeitig mein Iphone 15 pro max über usbc geladen. Alles problemlos.
