GOLD N HOT Ionic Dryer and Styler

I am a licensed cosmetologist who likes a blow dryer with a comb attachment to use on myself but I kept seeing blow dryer brushes and had to try it. And I went to a trusted brand that I have for all my hair appliances, Gold N Hot, and it didn’t fail. It gets hot enough, easy to work, and easy to clean. It gives me a good blow out where I only pass my flat iron (450) one time through my hair and it’s pin straight. I can dry my hair in 20 mins as opposed to the 40 with the blow dryer. And just to be clear I have 4B hair. I will say there aren’t any holes for drying in between the actually bristles, the holes are at the top and bottom of the brush. It’s heavier than I expected but it’s like a blow dryer. It’s a good size, it’s not big and clunky where you can’t use it. In the picture the clipped hair is wet and waiting to be dried, the other side is already dry using this product.

This dryer/styler is amazing. I have 3C/4A hair and I was skeptical that it would take forever to dry my hair in tiny sections or that the bristles would pull my hair out. Tried it once and I’m sold. It works wonders to get my hair dry, straight, and manageable quickly. It will not make your hair “silk press straight,” so if that’s the look you’re going for, you’ll need to follow drying with another heat tool. But it is great for general drying to put hair in buns, braids, or detangled/dry for protective styles.

It gets the job done but prefer another brand which is out of stock on their website. Still gets hair straight but is heavier brush

I bought it as a replacement to my Gold N Hot styler dryer with the comb attachments. I'd had it maybe 12-15 years, it's been so long that I've lost track. It still worked but when the case around the plug cracked it was no longer safe to use. As much as I loved that dryer I decided to try one that didn't need replacement combs. So far, so good. I've used it 3 times. I didn't want to review after one use so here we go... I am African American with thick "4C" shoulder blade length hair. Surprisingly the dryer is much lighter than expected. The brush isn't too bulky to get my hair straight from roots to ends. Some reviewers complained about the noise but I always dry on low so noise is not an issue for me. Perhaps I should have tried high for the sake of the review. My hair dries nicely and it even appears to be a little longer because it's much more sleek and the ends are way smoother than before. My hair even seems to retain moisture better and overall it looks healthier without dry, frizzy ends. My hair dried very quickly with the first use so I timed the second and third uses. I went from 35-40 minutes to 22 minutes so it definitely saves time. My only complaint is that the paint wore off very quickly. The padlock icon wiped off with the first use, and the settings are barely visible after the third use. It's not a big deal since I'm familiar with how to use it but a small annoyance nonetheless. Still, I highly recommend this dryer.

Impressive with a better way to blow dry hair. It handles very easily lots of control!

My hair is thick, usually tangles, and takes an hour to blow dry my hair. Now, 20-25 minutes Game Changer! The price is even better, you will think it’s a $300 hair dryer. I love everything about this blow dryer, the different settings, easy to hold, doesn’t burn your hand. It tames my hair so well! Wash day is not dreadful any longer 😜🙌🏾

I always used this brand as a kid. Its great on natural hair & detangkes pain free even on hair needing trim. Dry time is quick & gets to the roots. The bristles are spaced perfectly! Very easy to hold and maneuver. Simple enough for preteen to use and put together on her own. Cool setting works well also.
