Very good value. Tripod is not as stable as others with longer legs but seems sturdy. Have a sandbag handy if you extend the arm. Nice that it can be collapsed low when needed. Carrying bag is worthless unless you want to completely disassemble the tripod each time. Better would have been to make the bag a little longer so you only take one section out and then store two sections. That would have been very helpful as I put the tripods purchased in another bag that works better. Threaded fittings and mic clamps are cheap. But overall, if you are on a budget, this is a very good choice

I purchased this mike stand because I wanted a full-height floor stand. It works very well. It's not expensive, and it's easy to assemble and use. The base is heavy enough to accommodate a heavy mike. It also appears to be very stable. Glad I purchased it. It's a great supplement to my desk mike holder.

Using a couple of these for drum overheads, that are put low under the cymbals instead of on top. They are plenty strong for a small overhead mic, the boom is a nice size, and the carrying case and mic clips are a nice bonus

This InnoGear tripod surprised me in a good way once I treated it for what it is meant to be. As a budget option, it delivers solid value and works well for lightweight microphones, small cameras, or accessories that don’t put much strain on the frame. The adjustable height range is useful, and the included carrying bag makes it easy to pack up and move around without fuss. The build is mostly stable, but it’s not designed for heavy loads. If you try to mount something with real weight behind it, you’ll notice the legs flex a bit and the center column doesn’t feel as confident. For light setups, though, it stays steady enough for recording, streaming, or quick mobile shoots. One thing to be aware of is the leg sections. They extend smoothly, but there’s no stopper at the end of each segment. If you pull too far, the section can slide out completely, so you need to pay attention when adjusting height. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind so you don’t accidentally detach a leg mid setup. Overall, it’s a practical and inexpensive tripod that performs well within its limits. If you need something lightweight, portable, and affordable, it’s a strong choice. Just don’t expect it to handle heavier gear or rough treatment.

I use this for singing at church. It's strong and stable enough that I don't have to worry about it tipping or wobbling when I use the microphone. But it's so light and easy to take apart that I can take it with me if I'm singing at another church or event. I like the versatility of having the boom arm that can be added at the top or just putting on the microphone holder. It is a little less stable using the boom, but I think that's true of any mic stand. The best thing I've found it to make sure I line everything up so one of the three legs is pointing in the same direction as the part of the boom that the mic is on.

I gave this three stars because that is the least it would let me give. I really only give it two. The stand seems to be well-built. It is portable and won't get damaged easily while traveling. However, it has a couple of major problems. First, it is top-heavy and tips over easily. I have tried spreading the legs out farther. That made it worse. And of course, if you close the legs in too tight, it will also worsen the balance issues. The other thing I have learned is that the stand has to be re-tightened if it is moved in any way at all. If you swing the arm away from you when not in use, it will have to be adjusted and tightened when you move it back, because just moving it away from you will loosen the bolts enough to make the arm fall out of place. This might be a great stand for performance. You can pack it away when not in use, pull it out and leave it completely in place during the performance, and then pack it away again. But, it is not suitable for using every day in the studio where it will not stay tight enough to stand the slightest touch. If I had the box and it was within the return window, I would be sending it back ASAP. But, since I have had it a while, I will get a much better one and keep this one for emergencies.

Cheaply built microphone stand using metal fasteners embedded in plastic housing that results in fasteners stripping after only a few uses. Extremely disappointed.
