Very good value. Tripod is not as stable as others with longer legs but seems sturdy. Have a sandbag handy if you extend the arm. Nice that it can be collapsed low when needed. Carrying bag is worthless unless you want to completely disassemble the tripod each time. Better would have been to make the bag a little longer so you only take one section out and then store two sections. That would have been very helpful as I put the tripods purchased in another bag that works better. Threaded fittings and mic clamps are cheap. But overall, if you are on a budget, this is a very good choice

I’m really happy with this mic stand! It’s super sturdy and holds my mic securely without any wobbling. I also like that it comes with different mic mounts, so I can choose the one that works best for my setup. Another thing I love is how adjustable it is. You can easily move it up, down, or side to side to get the perfect angle. Overall, it’s a great mic stand that does exactly what I need. Definitely recommend it!

I purchased this mike stand because I wanted a full-height floor stand. It works very well. It's not expensive, and it's easy to assemble and use. The base is heavy enough to accommodate a heavy mike. It also appears to be very stable. Glad I purchased it. It's a great supplement to my desk mike holder.

The adjustable height range is useful, and the included carrying bag makes it easy to pack up and move around without fuss. The build is mostly stable, but it’s not designed for heavy loads. If you try to mount something with real weight behind it, you’ll notice the legs flex a bit and the center column doesn’t feel as confident. For light setups, though, it stays steady enough for recording, streaming, or quick mobile shoots. One thing to be aware of is the leg sections. They extend smoothly, but there’s no stopper at the end of each segment. If you pull too far, the section can slide out completely, so you need to pay attention when adjusting height. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind so you don’t accidentally detach a leg mid setup. Overall, it’s a practical and inexpensive tripod that performs well within its limits. If you need something lightweight, portable, and affordable, it’s a strong choice. Just don’t expect it to handle heavier gear or rough treatment.

I wanted a mic stand with a lower profile base for sitting when I play. This fit the bill perfectly. Of course, it adjusts to standing height. I also like the convenience of breaking down the stand for portability. The only change input I would offer the manufacturer is to make the storage bag about 3 or 4 inches longer. It is a challenge to tuck all the pieces back inside and get the zipper to work.

Using a couple of these for drum overheads, that are put low under the cymbals instead of on top. They are plenty strong for a small overhead mic, the boom is a nice size, and the carrying case and mic clips are a nice bonus

I bought 4 of these mic stands for podcast recording, but unfortunately it hasn’t lived up to expectations. While the stand looks sturdy at first and comes with useful extras like mic clips and a carrying bag, the biggest issue is stability. As we record, the boom arm slowly drifts down no matter how much I tighten it. This means I constantly have to stop and readjust during sessions, which gets frustrating. The adjustable height and portability are convenient, and it might work fine for lighter microphones or very short uses. But with a heavier mic like the Blue Yeti, it doesn’t hold position well. For anyone doing podcasts, voiceovers, or music recording where you need hands-free consistency, this stand just isn’t reliable enough. It’s budget-friendly and may be okay for casual or backup use, but if you need something that will stay put during an entire episode or performance, I’d recommend looking at sturdier options.

Good tripod mic stand with a boom arm. Happy with it for the price. Five stars.

Not sturdy enough for SM7B

Cheaply built microphone stand using metal fasteners embedded in plastic housing that results in fasteners stripping after only a few uses. Extremely disappointed.
