Best to wet and let air dry for the foam to rebound from being vaccumme packed.

I used this together with an aquarium divider for my 20 & 29 gallon aquarium that I use for breeding. It prevents the tiny fries from escaping.

I cut and put this in as a pre filter in my power filter to get some of the bigger debris out prior to the hard plastic carbon filter. I now no longer have to run the expensive pre-made filter cartridges

This sponge is perfect for a first-layer of a canister, or even in my HoB filters! I haven’t found anywhere near this price from any other seller. I personally prefer 30ppi sponge, but this size is what I use for the bottom layer of my canister.

Seems fine. Didn't realize it wasn't flat (wavy ridges), but that's my fault. I probably won't buy it again since I need more of a flat surface. But aside from that, it works as expected.

Product arrives vacuum sealed and comes with directions on how to fluf up the pads. Rinse in water, dry and dryer, and there you go. For the price, they're fine.

Just the right coarseness for my needs . Use this for many applications but is good for pre filter material.
