Takes out 1 - 1.5 litres per wash load
Works well for it's intended purpose. It takes out 1 - 1.5 litres of water per wash load. I split the wash load in half as the spinner is fairly small but it needs to be otherwise it would be too big too store. It doesn't move around when switched on and it is quiet. Clothes are still wet after but they are significantly less wet and dry much faster than when they haven't been spun. Very cheap to run. Not too heavy to move in and out of the cupboard. The bucket to collect the water fits inside when not in use. I am pleased with it and feel it is worth the money.

It's brilliant
After reading the reviews I was dubious about buying this spinner but I went ahead and did it any way. Then because I didn't want to be disappointed, it sat in it's box for a week before I used it. In fact, in it's two boxes. It comes well packaged. Extracting it, on my own, keeping the boxes intact in case I had to return it, was the hardest part. (I leaned it over and cut the bottom seal, opened the flaps and lifted the box up and off the inner box, and the same for the next box, if anyone's wondering) And so there it sat, somewhat larger than I had imagined it to be, but considering it, I don't really see how it could have been any smaller. I hand washed a few items and put them in as per instructions, put the blue pot under the spout and turned it on. OMG it worked to perfection. The supplied blue pot is not big enough, I'm just using an old mealworm tub that holds 5 liters. It's stable, fairly quite and only takes five mins Max. My spun clothes are air drying overnight indoors with no extra heating although as winter comes I'm sure I'll have to light the fire. I've used it now about 15 times with no problems. I don't have leaky feet as in some reviews, I didn't have any faults to mention about it at all. Would I but it again? Hopefully it will last a long time and I won't have to but if it lasts a year I'd be happy and yes I'd buy another based on it's performance so far.

Super Spinner
I have always had a separate spin dryer, the spinner's with a washing machine never really do a good job, I bought this because my very old spinner had enough, after years of use the engine went, and tripped the electric, poor thing 😭. This machine is so well packaged I wondered if it would have to used from the box ( not really ) I can honestly say it's better than my old one, and some items are almost dry, it's a great size, fit's under the side of the sink, very smart in black, l would have liked a longer lead, I like the water outlet, my old one had a pipe, but this is neater. All in all a very good spinner and so far I'm more than happy.

Umelome 6kg Spin Dryer
I bought the Umelome spin dryer because the spin on my washer was not very good. After doing a wash and spin in my washer, this dryer spins quite a lot more water out but don't expect the clothes to be dry. The spin is very quiet and has 5minute timer on it. Yes, I would recommend it.

Quiet and very efficient.
I wanted to use this for a while before I wrote my review. Have done so, and here are my thoughts. First off, I bought this as my washing machine was dying (has since died) and would only do a very slow spin. Figured this would help. And it certainly did. Even better though, is that now my washing machine no longer works at all, and I am hand washing everything, I find that I am saving a ton of electricity, and have washing that comes out the spinner nearly completely dry. Its, near silent in operation, and extremely efficient in spinning nearly all the water out of even soaking wet towels and bedding. Even in its prime, my washing machine never got so much water out of a load. Sizewise, it will take most of a reasonably big load. I have to split it down only when puttting very wet towels etc through it, so as not to overload the spinner. I went for the biggest spinner I could find, that would take the biggest load. Think I scored a winner on this one. The supplyied container for the water is woefully inadequate for larger hand washed items, but I use a washing up bowl instead, and have had no issues. I found the five minute timer useful, although most items dont need that long anyway. A couple of minutes and the job is done. The child lock would be useful if I had kids, but as I dont, its just an annoying thing that sometimes gets turned on by accident and causes confusion for a moment. Now we come to build quality. I have given the spinner five stars because over all I am extremely happy with it at the moment, BUT... not sure if it will last long term. Although its very stylish looking, and fits in well to a modern kitchen, up close, some of the finishes seem rather rough. (There are a couple sharp edges) and some questionable marks on the back seam. Plus mine arrived with a deep scratch on the paintwork, straight out the box. The scratch is purely cosmetic, and as its at the back, doesnt show so wasnt worth returning for, but its diasappointing on a brand new item. Another small niggle would be the short length of the power cable. Could definitely do with a much longer one, plus better provision for cable storage. There is a short of hook for it, but its nowhere near good enough or particularly useful. Would I recommend? Yes - so far. Obviously, as i have only had it a few weeks, i have no idea how long its going to last, but, as things stand, I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for an efficient spinner. If you are looking to save electricity then this spinner def does the job. Depending on material, a lot of items come out of the spinner really close to totally dry, cutting dry time by other means to a fraction of the previous time. I will update if I ever have issues with it, and let you know, but so far, its def a winner for me.

Money saver
So pleased I bought this. After using my washing machine I give it another spin in this and it cuts the drying time in half. Saving time and money in the tumble dryer and on the clothes horse. It’s good quality and totally efficient. It takes up just a little space.

Excellent in the right use cases but not for everyone
I've used spinners before and they are very good at getting a lot of excess water out, quiclky and cheaply. They are not however a substitute for a trumble drier. This one is quieter than ones ive used before and does not dance around the floor like some of the cheaper versions. With sensible loading it does not clang when spinning up unlike some of the ones ive used in camp site laundries. The load size is ok for me, using a 7lb washing machine. If full to the brim then i tend to do it as two loads. Families will need to routinely do two or more loads for a larger washing machine. Synthetics and thiner materials come out close to dry. Thicker heavier materials like cotton and especially towels still retain a fair amount of water. If you are someone who washes athletic gear regularly then this is ideal. Your running gear will be ready to ware by the next morning. If you are looking at more general purpose use then it will roughly halve the time you need to run the tumble drier which is an overall cost saving but will cost you more in time and inconvenience. If you are someone who hand washes clothes then this will remove massivley more than hand wringing to the externt that the supplied catch tray will overflow very quickly and you will need to place a bigger bowl under the outlet. Also true if you decide to turn off the spin on the washing machine. I leave mine on a short 600 spin to get the bulk out. I dont find you end up any drier by using the 1200 rpm washing machine spin or doing second runs in the 2400 rpm spinner. In good weather you may as well go straight to the line and leave it there longer. If you need to use a dryer then this will save time and money for a little effort. In short, this gets small loads a lot drier than a washing machine spinner and significantly reduces drying times but will not remove a final dry on the line or in a tumble drier. Would stronlgy recomend for singles or couples in a flat.

Super
