Slide block beats mallet and block any day.
Very happy with this purchase. Helps not to tear the underlayment when tapping with a rubber mallet. Slides smoothly, heavy enough to join planks together making it easier and quicker to install planks. Again the size and weight are great, eliminates two tools into one making it not functional and valuable. Definitely would recommend to anyone installing LVP or and other flooring.

Helpful, but will chip floors if not used correctly
This was very useful for putting in my LVP, but i needed to hit a rubber mallet into the block in order to seat the plank all the way, otherwise it chipped the flooring
