Look at the paperwork that’s comes with the motor or driver it comes with it, or you can find them online.

Q: Can I use it as a generator

It depends on the context of what you're doing. If you just want a technical "yes" or "no" , then yes. You can. But it wont really power anything, but will technically generate electricity. You'd need a pretty high gearing ration to generate enough to power anything other than LED lights.
