First beach tent I have purchased, and have only had a beach umbrella before this. Your first decision is to decide what kind of shelter you want to have, umbrella, some sort of gazebo style or tent. If you decide you want a tent, this thing is great! Sets up in about 30 seconds and breaks down in about 2 minutes. Ez-peezee and can be done easily by one person. Practice at home twice before you go and you’ll be set. Once you fill the sand bags it handles strong wind as well as any structure on the beach. None of them can handle really strong winds.i rode out a rain storm in this thing just fine with high gusts just holding the front flap so it didn’t flip over. Well built and did not come apart. I really can’t say enough good things about it. There are no negatives! It’s a tent and so if that’s what you want on the beach, then this is a very solid choice. It really only holds two adults comfortably on chairs or one lying down, which my daughter did quite a bit to get completely out of the sun for a little while, which is awesome! The font flap is great and if you don’t want to mess with it, just fold it under the tent. If sand get a in there, just through a bucket af water in there in clean it out. I used a camping mattress in it so you could get off the plastic, and any wetness, but you could use a towel. Goes back in its duffel, No problem!. A+. Well built and has little pockets inside for storage and even a clip hanging from the top center to hang whatever you want, I put my hat there for a time. Lightweight and easy to carry.

I love the size of this tent. People always make fun of me for bringing a tent to the beach, but end up all coming inside of the tent to cover themselves from the harsh heat and sun by the end of the first hour at the beach. I love that it has flap so you could either still stay in the sun or protect yourself fully from the sun. I’m able to set up a whole beach chase lounge chair inside of it and also have another side where someone could lay on their beach towel next to me. Great for sun protection and offers a little oasis and glamping feel to beach excursions. Easy to set up and easy to break down. Everything you need comes with the tent minus the sand, but you could always find that at the beach. If you're in an area where they don’t have sand, you can also use rocks from around your area to fill the little weight bags to anchor your tent better. Worth the buy!

I love it!! But let me just say its not an easy pop up or take down. You can easily break it if you are not careful. Other than thay it has held up to puerto rico beach winds sun and constant use. Plenty of room for two . If it starts raining you can hide in there and avoid rain. Maybe few drops inside but overall water resistant.

Easy to set up and take down. This was a great addition to our beach trip (allowing a mother and child to get in the shade with plenty of room). WELL worth the purchase! Lightweight and easy to take to the beach, and it looked good. Excellent quality as well!

What a cool beach tent love it great to hide away from the sun on those sunny hot beach days

I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't used it for its intended purpose yet. But I set it up in my living room to make sure it was good to go for our vacation. I read some reviews complaining about instructions weren't included. I'm not very mechanically inclined, but it took me about 2 minutes to have it figured out and completely'assembled'. The material seems pretty durable and has plenty of places/ways to anchor it down. The only downfall is, I wish the carrying bag was a little bigger. I did get it back in there but it was a little tricky... and maybe if I had another set of hands it would be better? Idk. I'll try to remember to do an update after we get back from our beach vaca in OBX. UPDATE-thw only issue I had with this thing is that it is hard to put up in higher winds. The first 2 days if our vacation the winds were pretty high. But with help it went up without issue. It withstood the winds as well. Once the winds died down it was very easy to set up alone. It's also very easy to put away and fits into the bag fairly well. That is why I changed my eating to a 5 star. I am very impressed by this thing!

If you are looking at reviews you clearly are interested.... please buy... you will not be disappointed! My family of 5 fit with ease and with room left to spare. After going to the beach last year and renting two chairs and one umbrella 2pm not knowing rentals ended at 4pm... Walked the boardwalk and came back they literally kicked my kids off the chairs... I vowed I wouldn't spend $40 bucks again on a rental. Looked this gem up and have no regrets! I've used twice each time install gets simpler. About 10 minutes first time (someone opted not to read instructions) second time it took 5 minutes tops. When placing it on the beach (it was very windy today) place with the back towards the wind.... eliminates sand blowing into your tent. It comes with 4 sand bags... fill the sand bags before you put the tent up... if not you will have a kite! After the sand bags are full proceed to raise the tent. Side note.... we also but sand along the sides and back... with all the wind we had this tint didn't move. Hook at the top inside was perfect for a bluetooth speaker. Has inside pockets one on each side with to sides. Pockets are perfect for phones, glasses, eatery and cups.... I added a comforter, blanket, and air pillows for me to lay in comfort. I am a stickler about things but this exceeded my expectations.
