This is a wonderful shower, curtain rod for clawfoot tubs beautifully attaches to a high ceiling. Preferably was the perfect addition to my clawfoot top.

This product is very sturdy and well made. I like that it also comes with the shower curtain rings. The only thing negative in our application was that the rod extensions that mount to the ceiling are the same diameter as the ring. Most shower rings use a standard O/D of 5/8 for the ceiling extensions. The product description fails to give you that information. We have an angled ceiling and had to purchase swivel flanges to adapt. Unfortunately they didn't work with this shower ring because of the non standard dimension. We are now having to rig something to make it work. Works great if your ceiling is flat.

Came rusty

I chose this shower rail because it was ceiling mounted (rather than being subjected to the leverage feature of a wall mounted design) and because of the description of the quality of material used; I wanted a sturdy product that would not collapse if someone pulled too hard on the shower curtains. I was not disappointed. This is a very solid bath/shower rail, and despite a 5-year warranty I expect it to last considerably longer. I'm delighted with my purchase. Of course, it needs to have very solid anchors in the ceiling, so I employed a professional to instal it. It's now strong enough to swing on, but I won't be tempting fate!

Make sure to strengthen the ceiling definitely a two man job as the rail is heavier than it looks looks good when it is fitted

Had to hammer fittings together which will make it difficult to fix to ceiling, should have returned for replacement
