So it sounded reasonable in principle . . . but there were some bad reviews. However, this thing actually works, with care and a little practice.Notes: the magnets are very attracted to each other - like teenagers in the first passion of youth - so treat them like a couple you know going through a divorce i.e. keep them well away from each other unless there's a pane of glass between them.Each left on its own then each is very attracted to any ferrous objects that's about - belt buckles (good way to carry ONE of them) etc. - they like to 'play away'.They lose attraction a little when the blue clothes are on for the second 'shining-up' stage, so at all times you need to keep the ring on your finger because you WILL lose the outside one several times.I forgot to put window cleaner both sides to begin with - makes the job much harder, but I'm used to me being stupid so no sweat.Gets into the corners well and I just used common sense and observation to chose the best wiping path.So not cheap but it got two windows cleaned on the outside that had NEVER been cleaned, and they DO do both sides at once . . . and they cost less than one visit from the window cleaner. So not cheap but definately value for money.Delivery was very quick - next day. Bit over-packed.

It doesn't slide as it should be, even with moist, it dropped three times within five mins trying. You have to move Really Really slowly to prevent the outside one from dropping. Also.it is dangerous, it can easily squeeze your palm+fingers, as the suction is very very strong when it is taken down. there is no easy way to split them apart, my palm is still bruised. Really don't recommend it. Don't buy it.

Good pointsI originally ordered a version that was too weak. I found customer services very helpful and quick to help with an exchange of D3 adjustable for the D2. It is helpful that they come with a measuring tool so you can tell if they are the right version. I have had another type of magnet cleaners before and the fact these come with a separator block is VERY sensible. (You’ll see everywhere that the magnets are strong, you have been warned). The reason my old ones from another supplier failed was because they DO from time to time stick together and the squeegee eventually tore while getting them apart. I still need to get the hang of these but got windows clean that otherwise never get cleaned outside.Probably worth a punt if like me, you are too tight to pay a window cleaner.Bad pointsThe unit is too long to do my quarter lights. (I can get to those normally, just not easy). Generally though could do with being shorter as they are bulky.I found the section right under the magnets was cleaned but the middle between the two did not clean well. So took longer.I could not get right to the edge of the windows the squeegee does not extend at all from the body of the unit.

This product does just as it promises - it's a wonderful solution for double-glazed windows! It feels high-quality and works great.Do note - it does require some caution, as the magnets are extremely powerful, and can attract the two parts very strongly. That probably has nothing to do with that specific product - it's probably an issue with any product which is powerful enough to work on double glazed glass.Several tips for usage / buying:1. Buy the correct version for your window thickness (D2/D3/... etc.) - do not go for more than you need. Yes - a weak magnet will keep falling, but a magnet which is too strong will be harder to glide on the window. This product is of good quality - find the version that fits you and you'll be good.2. When placing the magnets on the window - DO NOT PLACE THEM AGAINST EACH OTHER. They will attract very strongly, and if you happen to use them on thinner windows - I suspect the shock might be quite strong for a thin window (that's another reason to buy the right version for your window thickness). Instead - place both magnets on the window - far from each other - and let them approach each other until they are stuck together. It'll save your windows from some unnecessary shocks. I read that one on another review - and it's a true and useful advice.3. When not on the windows - use the supplied separator, and try to keep the magnets (=your hands) away from each other so they don't stick together.4. RTFM. Especially - use enough spray / water on dirty windows, so the magnets can glide on them. Start from a wet part of the window so the magnet glides more easily.I hope it's helpful!

Did not grip window even though I bought the one for double glazed windows.

Purchased this for my cleaning business I have seen all the reviews. First I would like you must test this on a window ground floor first with the safety loop on your finger (test it within reach before tackling and 1st 2nd or 3rd floor window). Secondly once assembled and using please start on the upper part of the window and work your way accross then down: like a snake type: (as when using on a double glazing the magnet will not always pull up during cleaning and it could make the magnet fall). Thirdly you must go slowish (slow to allow the magnet to go with you. Not snail pace but common sense slowly working across the window then down a bit then back across then down and finish with the glider reachable. Failure to do so could result in the magnet outside coming away from the window and potentially damaging and losing a magnet then complaining. Effective product if used correctly.

Bought for Double glazed PVC windows. Had to return as magnet didn’t hold and kept falling of the outside of window. Certainly didn’t glide the way the video shows.

It's one of those things that makes your life a bit easier.My windows needed a spring clean. I was looking for something to help with this annoying task, we have bars on most of our windows so it's extra annoying. This was perfect! Made the job so easy, at half the time it would usually takes me.Overall I'm very happy with this product and will recommend it.

Supposed to work on windows up to 20mm thick.In apartment block with double glazing within the max of this range but no grip between the two magnets at all .Waste of money - would like to return as 1st attempt and you don’t know till you try live on windows

We live in an apartment and have some windows that are high up and not possible to clean on the outside as the only open a tiny amount for safety. They were filthy. I was skeptical but really hoped these magnetic window cleaners would work. And they did! Exactly as they were supposed to. We bought the blue one. The magnets are VERY strong and the squeegees glided well. The only trick is getting the cleaning solution sprayed on the inside and the outside of the window. Our windows open enough to get a hand around and managed to get a generous amount of windex spray on the outside. I am very happy with this product and was definitely worth the investment.

Voy a devolver el producto. Cogí el 2 por los diferentes cristales q tengo y el tipo d ventana. Pero en serio en el cristal sencillo no va bien hay q hacer mucha fuerza y aunque voy despacio al final se cae. Y en los otros dos tipos de cristales q llevan cámara d aire pues al final se cae y Gad a paso d tortuga. No sé si para estos valdría el 3. Pero no puedo comprar los tres modelos para ver.Lo siento xq creí q por fin se me iba a dar bien el poder limpiar esos cristales.Un saludoHe recibido por parte del vendedor un nuevo modelo el D4, q puede graduarse según el grosor. Por motivos personales no le he podido probar lo suficiente como para opinar.Pero de momento si puedo decir que de la ventana corredera con cristal simple he hecho pruebas y ahí ando. No se me ha caído aún tengo que hacer fuerza. Tengo que seguir practicando y supongo que coger el tranquillo.En cuanto pueda os seguiré informando y os contaré mi experiencia con el Glider D 4. Será real y verdadera.La verdad que el poder ajustar el grosor creo que es una idea genial.Bueno han pasado ya unos meses y creo que puedo mejorar mi opinión respecto al Glider D4.El vendedor y la empresa se han portado estupendamente.Me enviaron por su parte un D4 q no acaba de ir bien o q yo no cogía el truco.Después de algunos intentos nos dimos cuenta que una de las gomas del Glider estaba floja y se salía (claro con la gamuza me aguantaba) y según me dijo el vendedor eso estaba mal y no tenía que moverse.Con toda su santa paciencia me envió otro D 4 y la verdad esque estoy encantada porque la goma está fija (no se mueve) y entonces mojando bien el cristal ya pasas el Glider sin poner la gamuza y va genial.Según el grosor de cristal abres o cierras tornillo y le vas manejando.Depende del cristal hay veces que voy más despacio o con otro ritmo, pero ya le he cogido el tranquillo y lo he conseguido.Un DIEZ al vendedor y a la idea de ajustar el grosor para poder limpiar diferentes cristales.Vuelvo a repetir que me ha costado coger el truco y he tardado en actualizar opinión pero soy sincera con mis comentarios.

I bought this D2 Tyroler Window Cleaner on the assumption that my window glass is double glazed and needed strong enough magnets in order to work properly. Unfortunately it turned out that it was too strong for the thickness of my window glass. I wrote to the Tyroler Team about my problem and they advised me to measure the thickness of my window glass with their window glass measurement guide. As it turned out the D2 model I bought was not suitable for my window and they readily sent me a replacement by DHL without cost to me. Here I wish to commend the Tyroler Team for their outstanding customer service in my exchanges with them. It was indeed a delightful experience to be served by a team who showed an outstanding work ethic. Great job! In fact I have had bad experiences with other makes of magnetic window cleaners in the market before I turned to the Tyroler brand. I can absolutely vouch that it is indeed truly the NUMBER ONE in the market, and that apart their excellent after-sales service is beyond reproach. As a footnote I would like to suggest that one should measure the thickness of the window glass with their window measuring guide in order to arrive at the right model to avoid the the same mistake I had made.
