I don't travel but sleep in upright position in a recliner due to health reasons, so I have spent a small fortune looking for just the support I need for my head, neck and ears! This is PERFECT! The chin strap makes all the difference in the world! Many variations to use and chin strap position, which is a game changer for such a simple addition that most other neck pillows don't offer Noone likes their chin dropping to their chest while sleeping, especially completely upright. Since I don't travel, I can imagine this would be ideal for airplane, vehicle and bus travel as well since it has straps on the back to attach to a headrest if wanted/needed. The memory foam arrived WITHOUT ANY SMELL AT ALL! Many other neck pillows I have bought have arrived so stinky from the type of memory foam used that they ended up thrown out, but this one has absolutely NO SMELL from memory foam used! It goes around my neck well and the back part where ones neck is, the memory foam is super thin so it doesn't push your head forward like MANY neck pillows do! This supports in a natural position without pushing on your neck! HUGE PLUS!! It conforms to my neck and ears without being too tight or too loose. I position it sometimes to where the sides go up over my ears so it helps tremendously to reduce surrounding noises! Love that feature! Best of all, I finally have a PERFECT NECK PILLOW for my daily upright position sleeping needs!! I'm buying another as a backup since I wouldn't want this one to wear out from daily use and not be able to find another identical one in the future, so another one is being ordered to have for future needs! This pillow is great for travel on a plane or car. Every feature of this pillow is well thought out. The back is flat, so it doesn't push your head forward. It attaches easily to the seat with velcro so that your head doesn't fall forward or to the side, and the sides are high, so it stops you from having a sore neck from having it bent to the side too far. The front strap keeps your neck in the pillow. This pillow also comes with a great travel case and rolls up to be so small that it's easy to strap to your luggage. I have had many neck pillows and hated them all. I was hesitant to buy this and thought it was going to be no different from the others, but this pillow is a game-changer. I would recommend this pillow to anyone traveling.

Pro: This does do the job of keeping me more upright which was good. It attached easily to front car seat. The chin strap is not so comfortable but also helps. Con: There is zero padding or support for the back of the neck. I am looking for a pillow that is also padded for my neck. My head hit the headrest, not what I was expecting, and there was space behind my neck. I’m looking for more of a pillowed effect all round.

My best purchase yet! I was searching for a really good travel pillow for international travels. I needed one with a lot of neck support for a 16+ hour flight across the sea. I was in between this pillow and Trtl. I am so happy I bought this!!! This pillow supported my neck and kept it upright. I didn’t have any neck pain at all. I was able to fall asleep on the plane ride to my destination. It was so worth the money. I would recommend this travel pillow to everyone!!

I hate travel pillows. I never sleep well on planes- if even at all. Always find travel pillows to be too bulky and uncomfortable. This pillow changed that for me. I had a red eye flight and needed something to support my neck. The pillow sat comfortably on my neck and I did not find it too hot (I am always hot). The chin strap is such a smart design. I didn't bother with attaching it to the seat back, so cannot comment on how well it works there. Did I sleep on the flight? No. But I was able to snuggle into this and watch a movie without neck pain or an annoying pillow moving around on me. The pillow was firm but not too firm and I was easily able to move the chin strap as needed. I washed the cover before use and it was simple to take off and put back on. It rolled easily back into its case. And I was happy to have the clip to be able to hang from my backpack as I moved around the airport. Overall super happy with my purchase.

I have to give this 5 stars because only after getting this pillow have I been able to sleep on long haul flights. There is no better feeling than waking up during landing and realizing you were out for hours. There are a few caveats though: - The pillow isn't magic by itself. You also need an eye mask and ear plugs or headphones with white noise. You may also want a regular travel pillow for your low back on very long flights. A pharmaceutical sleep aid doesnt hurt either. - The travel case is comically small. The pillow DOES fit but its not the part I look forward to. The zipper on my case broke and Cabeau sent a new one quickly and free of charge which was great. -The pillow is designed to fit around the already existing airplane seat headrests. If you on a flight where the plan doesnt have this (not many but it happened once) youre out of luck. The pillow straps could be wrapped around but would possibly block the IFE screen of the person behind you. -The sleep quality you get is not amazing, but it sure as hell beats being awake. The pillow is not necessarily like a traditional soft pillow - it is more like a firm neck brace that mimicks what lying down with neck support might feel like. Realistically with how uncomfortable planes are, this is the best you are going to get. It is well engineered and impressive considering I have never ever been able to sleep on a flight before. Get this, your other supplies, and a window seat and it's the best chance you have.

Take it from me—someone who has fallen asleep on a plane without a neck pillow only to wake up staring into an irritated stranger’s eyes and realize that my head was resting on his shoulder—you need a neck pillow for air travel. As you can see in my photos, I’ve compared this TNE (The Neck Evolution) S3 to my older Cabeau neck pillow, the “Evolution Pillow”. I thought at first that the new one may be smaller, but the foam inside actually seems to be identical to my older model, albeit a different color. I like that both models come with earplugs (newer one definitely seems like upgraded earplugs), and I like that both models have a storage area/pouch located to the user’s left side (when wearing it). I like the chin strap on the newer model for chin support, but I really liked the front clasp on my older model so I wish that the newer model had kept the front clasp and also added the chin strap as an additional feature and not a replacement for the front clasp. There’s another new model that doesn’t have the chin strap and keeps the front clasp, but I haven’t tried that one yet. I haven’t yet flown with this newer TNE model, but I’m hopeful that it will give me restful sleep. That said, a lot of the newer Cabeau neck pillow models come with the seat straps (none for “Evolution Cool” model though?) and, while I haven’t tried it yet, I’m excited to see how it’ll help keep me in place and perhaps help me to sleep even if I’m forced to keep my seat upright and can’t recline. As far as the fabric though, I am partial to very soft fabric, and I actually prefer the fabric on my older model as it is very soft and comfortable to touch with a sort of velvety texture, whereas the newer model is not nearly as soft to the touch. It looks like the “Evolution Earth” model in their current product lineup may have a similar soft fabric. Unfortunately though, the Evolution Earth doesn’t have any seat straps nor front clasp (only a chin strap). I do wish that they had a model combining all of my favorite features (seat straps, chin strap, front clasp, and a soft “buttery” texture), but this model will probably do just fine on my next air travel trips.

Let's face it, it's difficult to sleep sitting. This neck pillow makes it somewhat easier, but it won't magically allow you to fall asleep. It's comfy and the back straps to hold you head back do work. It could be a little taller for me as my head still fell a bit too much to the side, but using it was way better than nothing. It's worth it if you travel a lot or have a long haul flight coming up.
