I have not used this campfire grate yet as the campground I have been at this year has grates built into the firepit. This seems to be a very good quality. I have owned 3 other campfire grates and they pale in comparison to the heavy duty build of this Vevor grate. The coating looks to be thicker than my previous grates. I will find out at some point how well the coating holds up to cooking over the fire pit, but does appear to be excellent.

One of my favorite camping additions. Can't recommend enough. Only negatives: I wish the grilling plate was larger and that it sat level. The grill plate screws on to the riser, so it sags quite a bit and leaves food cooking inconsistently. Not a big deal, you get used to rotating it to get even heating.

Would have gotten a 5 star review but the carrying case is crap the handles broke off.

Love the size and weight of this grill. I bought it to cook for my customers on overnight fishing trips. It does a great job, cleans up easy and packs well in the included bag. Easy to carry in my raft. Does everything you'd expect it to.

This grill's legs do not lock open. It relies on the outward angle of legs to stay open. The legs collapse if grill is moved in a transverse direction and are a finger and hand pinch hazard. The grill is very portable and light. Very basic grill. I would not RECCOMEND BUYING BECAUSE OF PINCH HAZARD. VEVOR DOES NOT HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, ONLY AN E-MAIL.

Read the reviews and received mine today. Well packaged I have to say. HOWEVER... when you open the legs and place this unit upright on the ground, BE VERY CAREFUL! Any shaking, stirring or moving of your pan or pot could cause the the whole unit to collapse! If I hadn't destroyed the box... Stupid me... I would have sent it back. I'll just get a tent peg or two for each inside of the legs and re-enforce it. As for the paint bubbling - heat the thing up, scrape it or sand it. Yea, I know it's a pain, but there is high heat paint - the same I use on my wood stove that can handle the heat or just leave it bare. All in all, it's pretty sturdy in a stand alone situation; you just need to keep those legs from falling in. Shame on the manufacture though!!

It comes with a handy carry bag with is great for packing. I got for my husband for Father's Day and he's very excited to use it when we go camping next . I can't wait to grill some steaks and have some vegetables in foil cooking on the other side with a real baked potato!
