Great, durable tool.
This is a great multitool. It is a solid well made tool. I was looking for a multitool that I can carry for everyday use. The knife blade is very sharp. The siccors are easy to use. The screwdriver is both Flathead and reversable to a Phillipshead. The blade and accessories lock open so you don't hurt yourself. It is a nice design. It is bulkier than I would like to carry in my pocket for an EDC. The tool is built to withstand alot of abuse. Overall I am happy with the functionality and quality of its build. I wish it was slimmer to keep in my pocket comfortably or had a sheath. This is very well made and I was surprised at the quality for the price point.

Some very nice features and a couple of flaws
Good overall design. The 7Cr17 blade deploys easily and locks securely in place. The scissors are surprisingly large and useful. The bit driver could be improved. There is no detent for the ball so the bit does occasionally fall out. The bit can pop out just opening and closing the bit holder a few times. Making sure the bit is firmly set after each use helps. Easy to use other than that. The flathead screwdrivers are useful sizes although they don't tolerate a lot of force during use. The small size is great for eyeglasses. Can opener/wire stripper and awl are functional. Would prefer a package opener to either the can opener or awl, but they are probably competing with the Tinker and similar models.Been carrying the Rocktol for several months now and aside from occasionally missing the Tinker's toothpick, the Rocktol is a more than capable substitute. Overall, the Rocktol is a more useful multitool given the superior blade, scissors and more useful flathead options. I would argue it is a safer option as well since the SAK blades can fail under moderate use.I carried a Tinker for 10+ years. Eventually supplemented it with a miniCobra pliers and miniGriptilian (when I need an actual blade). The Tinker blades were mostly used for food prep at lunch. With the Rocktol all I need to carry to supplement is the miniCobra. I usually still carry the miniGrip, but it really isn't needed. Still love the Tinker. If you want a similar size and toolset with a decent scissor this is a good option - but be mindful using the bit and screwdrivers.

An inexpensive, but useful compact tool
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really like this tool. I keep it next to my easy chair as it is just handy. If I did not want to carry a medium size multitool, then I would carry this all the time. A smart and useful tool.Tool utility:The knife blade is a good size, so it will not bend or break and the scissors are are large and useful.Functionality:It is just a compact, useful tool you can carry in a pocketBuild quality:No complaints.Design:Well designed, but I would like a better quality blade made of VG-10 or 154 CM as an option. I think it would make a good, inexpensive upsell.

ROCKTOL Rocks! So impressed I purchased several as gifts for family, friends and co-workers
Compact, structurally strong design & build from high-quality steel - an all around EXCELLENT value. I particularly like the large scissors and the bit driver tool which comes with reversable Phillips + Flat Blade screwdriver bit. The cutting blade is very sharp and sturdy and all of the foldout tools lock into place and are easy to unlock and return to folded position even for huge hands and sausage fingers like mine. All other foldout tools are also well designed and very functional. The stainless steel clip is perfect for keeping this multi-tool secured to pants pocket, belt or tool tote. I ENTHUSIASTIALLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Sweet little multi tool
Got this on the recommendation of a YouTube knife and outdoor gear reviewer. Similar to the Gerber Armbar Drive, but with more tools (really appreciate the eyeglass screwdriver) and scissors that deploy better. Feels solidly built, and it’s compact size makes for a more practical edc than a lot of pliers based multi tools. All the tools seem well made with excellent fit and finish. Knife is nice and sharp and the scissors cut extremely well. The only tool that doesn’t have a lock is the bit driver, but it still snaps into place nice and tight. As of now it is very stiff and difficult to deploy, but I expect it to loosen up over time. The included double ended flat/Philips bit is retained by a ball detent, but I will probably install a magnet and use my Wiha double ended bits with this. Over all I am really liking this thing. Will see how it holds up, but first impressions are very nice, especially for 20 bucks. Was kinda disappointed that it no longer comes with the little leather slip pouch, but it is still a great value. If Leatherman made a similar tool, it would be $60+.PS when using the scissors, make sure they are deployed all the way. You may have to push it all the way in to place in order for the lock and spring to engage.

Solid buy
Compact with a good selections of tools. Not the smoothest opener but fro the price a solid buy. The clip is solid.

It has a major flaw. Could be a great tool for edc
For the price it’s ok. I’m not the type to complain but give honest review maybe I got a flaw that is how it looks. The pocket clip could be stronger seems like it would bend easily. Ok my main issue is the knife the lock goes all the way over and barely touches the face of knife to lock open but it works. For the big issue now is the detent tab on the liner lock does not engage with the hole in the knife when closed all the way causing play in the knife when closed the ball will actually lock into the hole on the knife about before it’s actually closed so when you close it all the way there is a bit of open and close play it could pop open exposing the the tip of the knife.Pics below you can see how far the detent hole on the knife is off it’s not even fully closedIf the knife lock up was better I’d give it 5 starts maybe I can get a new one sent out and will update the outcome I hate having to return things it’s a pain. Everything else is very nice about the tool I hope I just got one that over looked in quality by mistake. Rocktool really makes good quality tools
