Personally I love it. My skin leans dry, which is mostly taken care of with good serums and moisturizers, and consistent use of sunscreen. Overall my skin looks good. I'm knocking on 50's door with no wrinkles, nearly no lines or sagging.That being said, I can see little skin bits on my face when I look up close. I hate the way make up looks because of it, and pretty much gave up make up 10+ years ago. I have tried retinol products, most very high end, and most are too much for my skin even at low levels. "Retinol uglies" is a thing I cant avoid no matter what routine/advice I follow. Gentler acids are nice for upkeep of rest of face but nothing touching those weird little bits of what I assume are dry skin.There are very few drugstore products I like, but there are a few. I never would have considered trying this Gold Bond retinol product, but I kept seeing it recommended in a Gen X group I am in. Since it wasn't too pricy, and I figured if anything I can use it on body and feet if I dont like it for my face, I decided to try it.I have been using it for a FULL month, EVERY single night. I happened to be someone who noticed a difference with first use, with cumulative benefit seen and felt. My skin does feel softer, smoother, and the weird little bits arent as noticeable. I have even decided to start dabbling in make up again. I still prefer to use some spackle primer, but for once I have not washed my face off right after putting on make up.No noticeable scent. Not perfumed. If there is a scent it is very very mild. I get scent nausea easily and I dont have any issues with this at all.Unlike some reviewers, I DO NOT find it greasy, at all. Nor does it sit heavy despite slathering it on. It is THICK, but it massages in easily, and doesnt make me feel slick. In fact, I would prefer it to be more moisturizing. Yet it does not leave my skin looking or feeling dry. Just not as moist. Does make the next days skin care seem to work better!Because it has retinol (albeit probably a very low amount), I only use it at night. I also use it on the back of my hands, forearms, neck, and chest. If I used it during the day, I would need an added layer of moisture, and my sunscreen of course.With Urea being at top of ingredient list, I half wonder if that is doing the heavy lifting so to speak. I am fine with whatever is in here as it just seems to be working. I already plan to buy another bottle (so I dont run out) and maybe a smaller tube for use on the go.I'm really pleased with the changes in my skin since using this. It has been great for back of my hands which are exposed to light all the time. Even with diligent use of sunscreen, it is hard to maintain that (hand washing, etc). I a glad I decided to try it out on a whim.One added note, TO BE FAIR, I found the bottle a little cumbersome to initially get to open and to get primed to dispense product. I thought I had a faulty bottle, but with patience and effort I got it going. Great lotion. Feels great going on. Thick lotion but blends in seamlessly and absorbs quickly. My skin soaks it right up and just loves it, it is very moisturizing and soothing. It has ceramides and so many beneficial ingredients for the skin. Would recommend and will repurchase. One of the best lotions I have ever bought. Gold Bond hit it out of the park with this one they made an impressively amazing lotion that is highly effective and soothing

this is a really nice lotion to use for the winter!! once the sun starts really coming out I think you should put it up unless you're diligently wearing sunscreen on your body everyday, but I know I don't. I don't like the way it feels on my skin alone all of the time, because it isn't very dewy in appearance, so I usually do a layer of another lotion or oil on top of it. it doesn't really have a smell which is nice. I also will use it on my back because I break out there often and it does a good but not great job of keeping things clear. maybe in use with a retinol body wash? overall I am a fan of this lotion but definitely protect yourself from the sun most importantly!!

This is magic juice and I highly recommend it. For best results, use every evening after a shower or bath, and the magic will manifest in just a few days. I've already purchased this again and again.

I've been playing around with different products for my dry and flaky skin especially in the colder months. I've bought the serums and the night creams . I've slathered on the 40-50$ creams and the " just for men designed" products but I was using gold bond for my hands during the coldest part of the year to help with the cracked bleeding knuckles that happen from working in the cold and decided to try it on my face. ... WOW. immediately relieved my dry skin, gave me life and plumped my dehydrated cells. After a few weeks of using it I see fewer deep lines and my skin feels soft and supple and the flakey painful dryness has given way to a rich moist glowing complexion. It has a very pleasing and non offensive scent that is light enough to slather all over and the moisturizing effects last from shower to shower.!

Been using for over a week now and my skin has been much better. Doesn’t scratch or peel off and it feels more elastic and looks younger. Great product!

I have this lotion on a monthly subscription and love it. The lotion genuinely makes my skin feel soft and smooth - not sticky or greasy. It is lighter-weight and absorbs into the skin quickly so I can dress, but thick enough that I can still feel its softness the next morning, holding moisture longer than other lotions I've tried. There is no scent, so it doesn't compete with other lotions or scents that I wear.I like the idea of an affordable retinol lotion that I can apply to the whole body that is packed with skin firming ingredients to prevent crepey skin. It is also better for my neck, where other higher Vitamin-A derivatives irritate the skin. If the skin barrier on my neck is irritated, it can have a slight sting, but it doesn't last long.

I love gold bond lotions. This one is definitely worth the money. Thick, creamy lotions, absorbs completely in, skin stays hydrated for hours, really helps with the crepey skin.
