Would this vanity work if i can only plug it in to a two prong outlet?

It has three prongs. You can get a little adapter for cheap.

Is there a button to turn the lights on?

Yes, it comes from the back, through a little hole near the lights on the right side. It turns them off/on and can change the lighting to softer and brighter between the three settings.

How much does the box weigh?

I can't remember exactly, but it was around 60-70lbs I think. She had to wait for me to get home and it was kind of heavy for me to get it downstairs, I think I let it slide down the steps gently, guiding it down.
