I was not expecting the build quality to be so sturdy and well designed. It's got plenty of options for angles and the variety of connection types is a nice touch.

As soon as you pull it out of the box, feel it, twist one knob or swivel one part - you know this thing is WELL MADE. I was giddy after playing with it for 10 seconds - not the first time I’ve uttered those words. Surely there is a German behind this quality of build? I don’t know… but more than just “every part moves as it should”, it moves better than it should. It’s metal, has some light weight to it and is perfectly engineered. They even have two size of tripod holes on the mounting plate. Kudos to whomever designed this! Thank you! Would absolutely buy this again! Going to Scotland in a month and this is perfect!

I needed an hot shoe sort of connector to add to the center of my ring light so that I could use my cell phone. This is rather sturdy metal hot shoe that you can use on a camera, tripod and more. The grip wasn't quite wide enough to hold my phone with the Otter Box on my Samsung phone, but that is not a deal breaker. I like the functionality that it provides with the 360 rotation, back and forward motion. I own several other items made by Neewer and I was pleased with them which is why I selected this. A versatile well-made item and a great price point.

I used to shoot my personal music videos with an aging camcorder, once it's connection became unsupported by Windows 11, I was forced to use other means. I started using my Galaxy S23 Ultra. This holder attached to my camera tripod easily and holds my phone perfectly. It's not made of plastic, which is great. As long as the spring mechanism holds up, I don't foresee any issues with it.

The NEEWER Metal Phone Tripod Mount (SP-02) is fantastic in many ways. It’s well designed, and easy and comfortable to use. It’s well-built, strong, and durable, yet relatively compact and sleek. My iPhone 16 Pro in its Otter Box fits easily and securely. It’s adjustable through a wide range of positions and can then be secured by tightening a couple knobs that are easy and comfortable to grip. It’s so good that in the past year I’ve bought four of them. It’s not cheap, but given its quality, it’s an excellent buy.

I bought this to hold my cell phone to take video of my swing for softball. I've put it to other uses too. It's become a great part of my digital camera kit. I use the cold shoes for holding slave flashes, and the cell phone holder can also be used to hold other lights like LED panel lights for macro work. It's solidly built, it locks a phone in securely, and the adjustability is excellent.

A real quality piece of kit! Made of a lightweight but robust metal alloy that's easily adjustable for a range of mobiles. I use mine for videoing Youtube and Instagram clips mounted on a standard 35mm camera tripod. Simple to twist/turn and rotate, then lock firmly into position - it holds my iphone securely. Brilliant - totally recommended. Worth paying a bit more for....
