🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I absolutely love my RainPoint Sprinkler Timer 2 Outlet! I bought this back in March 2024, and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my garden and yard watered without any hassle. The setup was super easy, and the brass inlet feels really sturdy and reliable. I’ve been using it on both automatic and manual modes, and it works like a charm every time. The dual-zone feature is fantastic—I can set different watering schedules for my flower beds and veggie garden, which saves me so much time. The display is clear and easy to read, and the buttons are intuitive, even for someone like me who isn’t super tech-savvy. The rain delay option is a bonus, especially during those unexpected showers we’ve had this season! It’s been over a year, and it’s still going strong with no leaks or issues. Edit/Update The company assigned a customer service rep and reached out to me proactively after seeing my initial review below, wanting to make it right. They offered to replace or refund the item in full; I had already purchased a second unit so they covered the cost of that and threw in another product of my choice for the trouble. The new unit is working well; the company clearly stands behind their products and is attentive. The other product they sent me was a box of their quick connect hose fittings - and those brass components look robust. The product itself works wonderfully. It is very easy to use and program. A little pricey for what it does, but the function itself has been reliable for me. I started with a single outlet model and liked it enough to upgrade to this dual outlet six months ago. I returned to this product page to confirm I had bought the “metal” version. To be clear the only “metal” part is the inlet collar - not the whole thread base, which is plastic - and the collar is super soft brass. I went to change this out for the first time, and my brass spigot snapped off inside the collar... I use plumber’s tape, etc. so that surprised me but it happens with brass. So I removed the collar connector part from the body and figured I could swap it out, or that there might be a way to order / replace that inlet part, as it is designed to separate from the body. Removed the whole inlet, but was then unable to put a replacement part on it (I tried substituting a stainless 304 quick connector but the plastic threads were so soft it wouldn’t seat). I went back to my single outlet model that has the same part / specs but was unable to remove the collar piece from that unit yet again due to the plastic base. If I forced it any harder it would strip just like the last one. All that to say - just a word of caution on the connectors… and I likely have to buy a new unit even after spending the extra for the “metal” version. Didn’t even get a full season out of this one unfortunately.

Was easy to program when I read the instructions... but Worked for about 3 months. Water in the screen. We put it in some rice to see if it can fix it, will update. NOT water resistant. 8/17/25 Update, The rice did fix it and I am going to buy an outdoor box to make sure I install it in so I dont have these issues again!

Ok folks, this IS the water sprinkler timer to get. I've purchased competitive models in the past, each with limited adjustments, and this one takes the cake! I have three long raised beds and have always struggled to get enough water pressure by a single line by the time I get to the third bed. This unit solves the problem by having two hose outlets where you can individually program them to come on at different times and for different intervals. In addition, the watering frequency is highly programmable compared to my previous competitor unit which only allowed 6 hours as the minimum frequency. This allows you to achieve frequent, short interval watering for super hot and sunny climates. The unit is easy to program and I was off to the races after a 3 min read of the instruction. Fortunately this is an American company and you don't get clumsy English to decipher. I got the brass model and that should be very durable in long term.

The instructions were pretty clear and as long as you get the metal one, you’re not buying crap. Intuitive and works as advertised.

It worked beautifully for 3 weeks and then yesterday (3 days after the 9/5/25 return eligible date) quit working. I reset it several times, including pulling the batteries and waiting for 10 minutes before re-entering each zone's settings. It still doesn't work correctly. All it does now, when the hose faucet is turned on, is run water to both zones at the same time. The screen shows the proper schedule, but the unit doesn't follow the settings
