Bought this particular item as a similar item that had a dimmer switch built in wasn't available with Prime. But checked the item to make sure it worked and the bulb was correct and working and found it had a dimmable switch in the cord as well as an off/on switch on the side of the base plate. So very happy with the purchase as it arrived in plenty of time and came with bulb supplied, which the other didn't! Bulb is very bright at fullest setting and sets a lovely atmosphere when dimmed. Bulb is a lovely golden hue and the gold coloured fillaments stand out really well. Daughter is very happy with product, as are we. We will probably buy one for ourselves in the very near future!

This Edison light bulb was a gift for my husband & he absolutely loves it! I have to admit, it looks incredibly cool in his study & the best thing about it is, that it’s dimmable! You can adjust the brightness from warm glow to get your sunglasses on! I really like it.

This lamp has illuminated my days and nights for nearly 6 months on its first bulb!It dims to a relaxing nightlight truly reminiscent of the 1900's and brightens to a 'modern' bulb in the mere turn of its control dial. I'm a stickler for product quality but truly, this is an incredible product.
