Wow, who knew? These sponges are great. I used mine to clean a rarely cleaned area, high shelves in my kitchen. It pulled up the grease and grime quickly and left my shelf feeling and looking very clean. I even used the sponge to clean some of the items that are sitting on the shelves. When the sponge got dirty, I just quickly rinsed it out and it was ready to continue being used. I used to use a lot of rags and a lot of the time I would just smear the muck instead of picking it up. These are very durable, I have only used one to clean all of my shelves and it still looks brand new.

These cleaning sponges are very handy and easy to use for a variety of cleaning tasks. They’re excellent at picking up dust and can also be used on surfaces like counters, sinks, and more. Just make sure they’re slightly damp for the best results.My only complaint is that one of the sponges I received had a bit of debris embedded in it, which suggests some quality control issues. Aside from that, they work well and are a good value for everyday cleaning.

I’m old and I’ve tried so many things to dust. I live where the dust is gritty and copious. Everything I’ve tried just pushes the dust around and scratches the surface. These are soft out of the package, but like a rock when dry. You have to soak them in hot water before they soften, but once you see how well they work, you won’t mind. The dirt comes up and settles between the ridges. Need to get a corner? Use the flat side. Ann Russell says that plain water with a drop of fairy liquid makes the best solution for dusting, perfect for these sponges. I got off years of built up dust completely off. I dust all the time, it just gets moved around, not removed. These removed the dust and no scratching.

Makes cleaning baseboards, radiator covers, and 6 panel doors so easy! Long lasting. Great for spring cleaning.

I intended to buy the brand Sponge Daddy but didn't realize these were not that brand though they look the same. They do a good enough job but they don't last along. They dry out faster and become hard. After a short time they fail to get soft enough to work well. Are they worth the price ? Yes because you get 4 for less than I paid for the name brand. I loved the original one because it is the only thing I have ever tried to clean the dust off fabric lamp shades. These worked just as well. Wet them, squeeze out excess water and they will drag all the dust off the shade when you move the sponge from top of shade to bottom. Amazing how dirty shades can get.

Amazed that these actually work! I love them. Once they dry out just moisten and they go right back to working. Cleans up the baseboards without a lot of work. Fits nicely in the hand and mine are still working well after a few months.
