Cost effective great pen
Wow, amazingly smooth. Enjoyed writing with it. The big cartridge i got inside the pen. Wish I had gotten a ink converter. Worth the price. I got the white shiny one. Strong build. Looks cool. Go for it. I will try pilot metropolitan soon.

very smooth writing
very smooth writing. particularly for those who have written with fountain pen earlier. no need to refill ink from ink-bottle as like good old days. it comes with one ink-filled cartridge that needs to be inserted like a ball-point refill. the look is also very elegant. the while colour pen is just great in looks.

Build Quality Lets it Down
A very good writing experience but rather lackluster build quality...

Pelikan fountain pen - review
The pen received by me seems to be defective. After trying for a long time there is such a poor flow that it doesn’t even write properly. Something is clogged inside as the cartridge inside was all dried up and even broken and I had to pull it out from the pen body with the help of a tweezer. The seller is bringing a bad name to the brand which has established over such a long time. My hands also got stained with ink trying to fix it. What a shame! What a shame!Untrustworthy seller! Poor show!

Good looks, Reasonable price - Slippery section
Was intrigued by the availability of a metallic and good looking Pelikan for Rs 600 and bought it without any second thoughts.Pen looks quite elegant as seen in the pictures and it doesn’t look cheap. But it has ink flow issues due to which there’re hard starts and skips. Nib is Medium and it’s just okay - not smooth, but not toothy either. Section, being made of metal is slippery. All in All, I’m disappointed with this pen and it’ll be in my collection, mostly unused..Edit after 1 month:After cleaning the feed and nib with ink flush and using the pen for a few days, flow issues seem to have been resolved. I can now rate the pen as a ‘decent writer’ with the only issue being slippery section.

Not a Good Nib for Ink Flow
Pen body and class seems to be Nice but when it comes to the writing…it’s main purpose, it fails to give you a smooth and fine writing. One could feel the scratches along the paper while writing in a flow.Ink flow is continuous but you feel a resistance while writing, more in cursive pattern.
