These are noticeably more aromatic than the generic supermarket sticks, which matters whether you're simmering a mulled drink, dropping one into a rice cooker, or using them decoratively where the scent is actually part of the point. At 3+ inches they're a solid working length — long enough to stir with, substantial enough to hold up in hot liquid without disintegrating. For baking they grind down well if you use a spice grinder, though Saigon cassia's higher coumarin content is worth keeping in mind if you're consuming it in large amounts regularly. For occasional cooking and beverages, it's a non-issue. The sticks themselves are tightly rolled and dry, no soft or crumbly duds in the batch. I am extremely pleased with these cinnamon sticks. They are fresh, fragrant, and packed with a rich, natural cinnamon aroma. The sticks are whole, clean, and high quality, making them perfect for teas, coffee, baking, desserts, mulled drinks, and a variety of recipes.

I received the bag quickly and i was impressed. Big bag and full to the top. I poured 3 cups of water in a stainless steel pot and put 4-6 cinnamon sticks in and boiled for 30 minutes and my house smelled so wonderful. then turn off put a lid on it and let it soak and then the next time you turn it on it smells even stronger. So it is up to you how strong you want it so remember 4-6 sticks is very strong. I'm enjoy these very much. Highly recommend

Wonderful, smell good and awesome price.

It was packaged well. No damage to the bag. The Cinnamon sticks were whole and not broken up from heavy handling during shipping. I just received them today so haven't really given them a chance. The biggest disappointment, though, was when I opened the bag, the fragrance was so light I could barely smell the cinnamon. However, I broke one in half to see if they were stale but they were not. There are different types of cinnamon and I guess this could have been different kind of cinnamon than I'm used to. I sprinkle ground cinnamon in my coffee and the scent is a lot stronger than this one.

The product I received was extremely old and upon opening the bag it had absolutely zero smell. These cinnamon sticks are past a usable quality, even breaking one of the sticks in half, it had no noticeable smell which I found quite peculiar.

Used these cinnamon sticks for simmer pots to freshen up the smell in the home. They worked well and gave off a warm, natural scent. A little goes a long way, and they’re easy to reuse for multiple boils depending on how strong you want the fragrance. Overall, a simple and effective natural option for making the home smell great.
