The Army Painter, Speedpaint Most Wanted Set 2.0 Combo, 24 x 18 ml

I'm sure its good paint but I guess I can't read....its really thin paint. They say its really thin paint. Speedy paint... I'm sure its good. I just dunno when I would use this. Totally my fault. Maybe I will try it out. I'm used to blending my own paint not a base coat then slap this on and your done.

Love these speedpaints! They make painting miniatures super quick and easy and make me look like a better painter than I really am! They dry quickly and look great at filling in the recesses like you had done a wash. I ended up buying the whole range of colors.

These are excellent for quick and easy table top painting. I use them for airbrush filtering and glazing and they work well. I do recommend thinning them a bit straight out of the bottle with the medium they come with.

Speedpaints are amazing! They make me look like a better painter than I actually am 🤣. The color selection is great. They flow very well and you can use Speedpaint Medium to lighten. I’m stuck on Murder Scene right now. Been painting all the capes on my Salamanders with it.

Easy to handle and pleasantly predictable. I really like the pigment quality in these paints too. 10/10 will buy again. First time users should read about these paints and maybe watch a video, but yeah, awesome paints!!

Absolutely love this product! Bought for my husband who paints mini figurines and the quality is amazing. The product goes a long way and gives so much detail and definition.

I usually paint miniatures using the dry brush method. The speed paints work very well, however there is a learning curve. I suggest you check out some of the videos on youtube for more information. I have not found a color that is week. Even yellows and orange work great. I enjoy painting miniatures, and the speed paints are a blast to use. You can mix paints, including any acrylic paints. The price is a bargain as well.

I used these on a short series of painting video for my youtube channel AshQuest and I love the "feel" of them. Very easy for someone like me who had no confidence in painting, to get used to and use. I now am confident enough to just go forth painting whatever I like, blending colors and thinking about new combinations to make details pop. I also really just like the 'character' of the paints, how you can make something vibrant but not too oversaturated, or muted for a more realistic or grimy look. love these and will be buying more.

Das Speedpaint-Set ist ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Einsteigerset für alle, die noch nicht viel Erfahrung im Bemalen von Miniaturen haben. Die Handhabung ist angenehm unkompliziert und gerade für Anfänger sehr zugänglich. In den Farbtöpfen befinden sich kleine Metallkugeln, weshalb man die Farben vor der Nutzung gut schütteln sollte, damit sich die Pigmente optimal verteilen. Die Dosierung funktioniert hervorragend und die Farben lassen sich sehr angenehm verarbeiten. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass Speedpaints deutlich transparenter sind als klassische Acrylfarben. Das Arbeiten in mehreren Schichten innerhalb der Speedpaint-Reihe ist deshalb nur eingeschränkt möglich. Genau darin liegt aber gleichzeitig ihre große Stärke: Die Farben fließen hervorragend in Vertiefungen, Rillen und Strukturen hinein und erzeugen dadurch automatisch eine Art Licht- und Schattenspiel auf der Miniatur. Erhabene Stellen wirken heller, tiefer liegende Bereiche kräftiger und dunkler. Gerade strukturierte Oberflächen profitieren davon enorm. Ich persönlich habe zusätzlich einige klassische Acrylfarben gekauft, um bestimmte Details oder Highlights nachträglich über die Speedpaint-Schichten malen zu können. Das funktioniert mit normalen Acrylfarben deutlich besser als innerhalb der Speedpaint-Familie selbst. Ein weiterer Vorteil: Speedpaints lassen sich mit etwas Wasser am Pinsel wieder leicht anlösen oder korrigieren. Das ist bei vollständig getrockneten Acrylfarben oft deutlich schwieriger. Beide Farbarten haben definitiv ihre Berechtigung. Für einen schnellen, optisch starken Einstieg ins Miniaturenbemalen würde ich Speedpaints aber jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Mucho mejor que su anterior set de pinturas rapidas, estas no se reactivan, se encuentra a faltar algunos colores, con lo que te ves obligado a comprarlos sueltos o comprar el set mayor que es mucho mas caro

These paints are perfect if you don't have a lot of time to spend on painting miniatures. One coat after priming and you're done. My favorite paints right now.

Good starter set getting most base colors would want. The paint is easy to use and after playing around a bit with how much you use on the brush, and can see the shading in recesses etc giving the model a bit more. Its not going to win you painting competitions, but if the goal is to get some rapidly painted presentable models, this is a good starting point
