I absolutely love this scarecrow! It had me laughing at trick or treater jump scares all night.I placed him in a chair and filled up his candy dish. I put it on motion sensor, so when the kids were putting their hand in the candy Bowl he would go off. A lot of adults and kids screamed and ran away from him.Basically how he works is you can have motion detection or sound detection and once he goes off he'll pop up his head, he screams and his eyes light up. He worked great, if you're doing motion detection you need to make sure you set him just right with his sensors and the candy bowl.Overall the quality of the Scarecrow was awesome. They could make it look a little bit more realistic by giving him a better outfit, I liked the hat but wasn't a big fan of how they did his shirt and pants. The scarecrows head looked really realistic and creepy, which was the big selling point for me to purchase it. The sound box was okay, I think the scream was awesome but I don't really like how it sounds like a tape recorder, however I don't think it really affected the scares.He was definitely worth the price had me laughing all night long.

I put this guy up on my porch for a while and he freaked me out sometimes when I forgot he was there. We had a lot of super scary houses this year, so I decided that the scarecrow was scary enough just as he is without using the electric features. It was very easy to put together, but I couldn’t figure out how to take him apart for storage.

The media could not be loaded. I put out my animatronics so that I just have to put them on the porch on Halloween. But I totally forget about them and freak when I think someone is sitting in my front room. AND…. When I inadvertently make noise and pop off Mr. Scarecrow, I actually found myself letting out a scream. I AM NOT ONE TO EASILY STARTLE AND I NEVER SCREAM. Well, now I can NEVER say that [I NEVER SCREAM] anymore.. 🤣

It's okay I thought it would come with a foot pad sensor, which it did not. Appearance it does look like a proper . I will need to jazz it up to make it look more real unfortunately.Still scared some do the kiddos that's a win.

Likes: fun prop, relatively inexpensive compared to other props, unique, easy setup, has options for external speakers and foot pad activation, has a power supply versus batteries.Cons: has a tendency to fall if not strapped down to chair.Pretty sure my prop was someone else’s return, my box was opened (tape was all cut open already) when it was delivered. The packaging looked like some already removed the components and stuck them back into the box incorrectly. Also I noticed the area where the zipper was had a brown stain on it, so I’m not sure if these props are brand new or others rejects or even used.
