In my search for a pure talcum body powder (NOT cornstarch!) I discovered these Yardley of London perfumed talcs. I ordered this English Lavender to try first, and was not disappointed in performance or scent! Pure talc is very hard to find now that they have all gone to cornstarch. Cornstarch powders change in performance and scent as you wear them - not pure talc. Yardley perfumed talcs are just that - perfumed and quite strong, yet lovely, gentle scents. A little goes a long way due to quality of the talc and the strong scent - and has been keeping me clean & dry and smelling fresh all day in this 2026 heat! Love this powder and the lavender scent is perfect! The only thing I noticed now since purchasing this last is that the price went up $3.00??? Why did it go from 6.99 to 9.99 in a matter of months. Not sure I will repurchase at this price now.

I just wish the talc containers wouldn't arrive with dents on them. They are pretty, colorful and uniform. I like to leave them out on a shelf in the bathroom. Being a little damaged bothers me and not as nice to look at, every single day. Plus they don't get used up so quickly so they're around awhile. With dents. Just saying.

Lovely vintage scent and silky soft, smoothing it on skin doesn't leave a white powdery appearance. I wish the scent was stronger and lasted hours.
