I originally bought this guarana powder to use in a homemade pre-workout, and it worked very well for that purpose. The natural caffeine boost is noticeable and effective without feeling overly harsh or jittery like some synthetic stimulant products can. It mixes in water well. It does have a slightly bitter taste, but I also mixed it with electrolytes so it is not noticeable at all when used this way. What surprised me most, though, was how good it worked as a coffee substitute. My coffee machine was down for a couple of weeks, so I started using this in the mornings instead, and the energy effect felt much smoother and more gradual than coffee. It has more of a steady, slow-burning caffeine effect rather than a sharp spike and crash. I also noticed I felt surprisingly good overall during that time, with none of the typical withdrawal feelings I sometimes associate with missing coffee. I am so impressed with this product!! I am plus size and have been working on ways to cut back on sugars and working towards a more natural diet, etc. I have been a one cup a day coffee person for YEARS. I've always said that I don't actually like coffee, I just like the effects. This works EVEN BETTER than a cup of coffee. Now, instead of slowly sipping a sugar laden coffee drink, I add 2 scoops of this to my morning clear protein (no taste or significant color change), and I'm good to go! There is no smell, it dissolves easily, and gives me a great boost that feels even better than the caffeine boost I was getting from a cup of coffee. I don't have a 2pm crash or need for another. It literally works all day. And the scoop is so small, it will literally last me like 6 months, and I use it almost daily! Will definitely purchase again!

Great natural energy. Switched to this instead of High Stim preworkout powder. Currently mix 4 scoops of this with 2 packets instant coffee. Amazing in the zone focus and energy with this, though a little more subtle by itself but still quality, natural, and effective for mental and physical energy alone.

I take one scoop (using the scooper that came with it) and wait 45 minutes, then I go for a run. I can run 6-8 miles, then lift, easy with this supplement. It is super cheap, super clean supplement, and super effective. Way more effective than a cup of coffee or an unhealthy energy drink. U literally only need one scoop to have energy to run for an hour plus. Or whatever you require energy for. This helps tremendously and doesn’t upset my ibs.

This product meets and exceeds my expectations. I’ve been taking a guarana tablet every morning, for a long time. I wanted to see if I could save money and skip the added ingredients necessary to make a tablet, by using this powder instead. And I wanted to find an organic source. This powder has exceeded my expectations, because it takes half the serving amount, to achieve the same effect, compared to the tablets. Even though both products list their caffeine content, I had to cut the dose of the powder in half because it was so much more effective. Either the tablet reported its caffeine content inaccurately, or the powder is just a more effective delivery route. In any event, I’m saving quite a bit from switching to this powder, while also upgrading to organic. The down side — as others have noted, guarana does not taste good. If you want to add it to other things, to hide the flavor, maybe some other reviewers have tips for that. For my part, it’s a very small amount, so I’m happy enough to just mix it in water and down it, to kickstart my day.
