I just took my camera to Europe and used this case. I threw the camera in the case in the bottom of my backpack and never worried about it being damaged. The case is rigid and my camera was very secure. The pocket held all my accessories (charging cable, extra battery, and SD card reader). I would highly recommend.

Also has a pouch to hold extra batteries and memory cards. Well made product.

This design I prefer as it is a deep compartment for the camera (Lumix ZS-100) with an easy-to-use elastic strap with a little room left in the "lid" for something small (think SD card holders, a short cable, lens cloth; a spare battery fits on the side not over the lens). There's a little wiggle room around my camera but no more than one of those plastic SD card cases, any tighter and it might be a hassle to slide the camera out. I don't like anything to press on the lens when a camera is in storage, and this is the third case I tried in order to find that. Zippers work well, wrist strap feels secure, overall satisfied with the design and quality. The case is very sturdy but not a rigid hard shell.

Protects my camera well. Elastic strap holds camera securely. Zippered mesh pocket on lid holds extra batteries/SD cards.

Theis case technically fits my Panasonic Lumix ZS200D but not very well. There is about a half inch gap between the end of the camera and the case so the camera slides around. If you have the strap on the camera (I prefer to leave it off) it can take up some of that space but the camera still moves around.The vertical space from the top to the bottom of the camera is fine.The case is rigid. The inside of the case is covered with a soft cloth material but there is no padding at all. It's just thin cloth over the plastic. A little foam padding would really help.The elastic band is loose and does not even touch the camera so I will likely cut it out. It serves no purpose.I would have liked to store my charger and USB cable in the zipper pouch but the charger hits the lens and you can't close the case. I can only store the cable. I think an extra battery would fit in there fine.It is better than no case at all but I would have preferred something that held the camera more securely.

My 12-year-old is using this case for his Panasonic Lumix and the case is working well so far after several weeks of use.

Very nice case for my Lumix LX-100 and I wish I could have kept it - but I have a lens cap on my camera, about 1/4 or 3/8 deep, and that made the fit too tight. If you don't have anything on the front of your lens, this is a perfect case for an LX-100.
