Bali Women's Lilyette Minimizer Underwire Bra with Lace Trim, Microfiber Full Coverage Bra

I'm 5 ft, 140 lbs and have a 36G size. Like some of the other reviews you have a VERY hard time with the hooks because the 36 is such a tight fit. To get around the shortness of the band, I decided that a 38DDD would have a cup size of the 36G, and 2" more in the band. I was correct! the 38DDD gives me the actual smae cup size plus 2 more inches of band to make it easier to hook. Only I know what size I'm wearing. It's a pretty bra, lace areas are soft, the bra is well made, does not have padding but good support.

The straps aren't elastic, but non-stretch, which I'm not used to. Band runs small, so I returned my regular size and ordered a band size up. Perfect fit! I don't really feel "minimized". My ladies are lifted and separated.

Well, this was a pleasant surprise. I've recently had issues with bra straps sliding off my shoulders, and these stayed put! While the band in front does flip up, I am willing to put up with that for the straps staying in place. It's been a while since my last Lilyette bra, long before Bali acquired them I think. The style I had previously was long ago, like around 1989 or so. (Obviously, I am no a spring chicken.) I was surprised to see Jamie Lee Curtis wearing the same one in her 1990 movie, **Blue Steel**, in which she plays a cop. But getting back to this one, it is lightweight and soft, and if you are sort of between cup sizes in other bras, you can go with the upper cup size for this one. Generally, I find with minimizers that I do need to go up a cup size, and so much for the minimizing. I am giving this one 4 stars because of the band flipping up.

I personally like the look and fit of this minimizer bra. I personally need a little more of an elastic hook are, longer might be a better word but I have ordered them consistently for a couple of years. I wash in a machine on gentle and then let them air dry to avoid shrinkage and problems with messing with the shape of the bra after going into a clothes dryer. These are well made and offer good support.

great bra for plus size - not so much a minimizer as I'd like to find - but it does the job. Unfortunately it only goes up to size 44 - it would be nice to have 46 or 48 as options.

I have been buying this same bra for well over 10 years. Although these are not my sexy bras, I do like to wear them at work (office setting). They are supportive and comfortable and I don't have to worry about my boob popping out my shirt if I have to lean down to change a toner or grab a box of files. (Note: I wear 34DD.) This year I ordered 2 new bras (old ones were getting ratty) and right out of the box noticed the material was different. The bra looks the same in terms of style/design...but the material looks and feels different. It's more plastic and less soft. I pulled out my old pairs to compare and sure enough. The ones I bought on 2022 and 2023 feel softer and a little thicker. The new ones also are not as comfortable to wear. There is something off about the place ent of the wire. When I first tried them on, I thought the fit was the same despite the crappy new material, but then after a few hours, the wire started to poke me. I never had any issues with the wire in any of the older bras. Thinking I had a dud, I just tried the 2nd new pair the following day, and the same issue happened (fit ok in the beginning but about 2-3 hours after putting it on, wire started poking and turning in). I am really sad I won't be able to buy these anymore. Why must companies cut so many corners at the expense of their customers?

I've worn this exact style bra for many years, because they worked well as a minimizer bra and were the comfortable - the fabric was firm yet stretchy, and soft to the touch. Then the design was changed, and these recent ones have inferior quality fabric, and a stiff, unyielding lining that makes them completely unwearble. The underwire is also problematic, it bends in weird ways. The cup is pointy and weird in such stiff fabric. After cutting out the lining they work better, however they have gotten smaller for the same size, and the fabric is even stiffer.

Great fitting bra! It does not have the inserts that are so hot in the summer. Very breathable and it’s an attractive bra.

Unfortunately after only a few wears. The bra Stretched out and now doesn’t fit properly at all disappointing I have this bra and black and beige and it did not stretch out and stuff it’s fine

My favorite minimizer bra. I wish they make the straps padded are they tend to leave marks on the shoulders
