Kirk's Fire Investigation (Brady Fire)

Kirk’s fire investigation is necessary have for any fire investigator. This book is filled with information that every investigator needs to know. I was told to use this book as an extra source during a 40-hour essentials of fire investigation class. It covered information that was not in the Jones and Bartlett fire investigation book and was very helpful in passing my state fire investigation certification test. If you are trying to become an investigator there is no better place to start than with this book .You cannot go wrong with Kirk’s Fire Investigation.

This is a vital text for all fire investigators. You must be familar with all of the topics covered. The authors have given us a readable text to further our careers

Awesome book

The textbook I needed when I needed it.

As a Fire Investigator this is one of the main reference and training texts I use.

This is a required text for a fire investigation course I am undertaking. It has a lot of depth and covers a lot of topics. For foreign buyers, keep in mind that it is an American text and many concepts relating to law and practice relate to the USA (interesting but not of any use outside of the USA). This is not the fault of the text. The detail directly relating to fire and the concepts around incidents and investigation of cause and origin is great. Like most textbooks, it is quite expensive. For the money, it would be nice to have a PDF version available. I know that leaves the text open to copying so it won't happen but as a student it is handy to be able to print off a relevant chapter and read and mark it up as required. In closing, it is a highly regarded text for fire investigation and recommended by the course provider and my organisation. If I can just sell a kidney, I might be able to get NFPA 921-2017 as well.
