Best cat litter I’ve tried — clean, low dust, and great odor control!
I’m really impressed with the Fukumaru tofu cat litter! It clumps beautifully, makes cleanup super easy, and there’s almost no dust. The odor control is excellent — my home actually smells fresh. I also love that it’s lightweight and made from natural ingredients, so it feels safer and cleaner overall. My cat adjusted to it right away, and I’ll definitely be sticking with this brand. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an eco-friendly, low-mess litter!

Great litter, and cheaper than PIDAN
This litter really works for me because it is cheaper than Pidan, but I'm not the one going potty on it! I'm still playing around with mixing it with the Pidan and hoping that my three young rescue spoiled brat kitties will use it anyway. So far they're jumping over the pan with this litter to use the Pidan! If I took a pic, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, BUT IT DOESN'T SMELL LIKE VANILLA, LIKE THE PIDAN! It's as easy to scoop as any; kinda gets that gluey look at the bottom of pee clumps. Doesn't track much, thoug I have the snowshoe cat (not really!) who has long fur tabs that come out between his toes, and this stuff or any of these little, skinny "pellet" stuff do track less! I actually pick them up sometimes and put them back! This is expensive stuff! But clay is a never, grass seed is lovely, but I hate it in my bed two rooms away! Walnut and pine stink... And they can't go outside and get eaten by a bobcat, so I'm stuck! Wish Pidan was cheaper. It smells so nice! And I scoop twice or more a day... all 4 pans!

No for corn, yes for tea
Update: I still stand behind my original review for the corn one, but the white tea one is great! The scent is truly very light. The clumping isn't perfect, but I've yet to find a litter that is (for this type of litter). And Fukumaru's customer service was really helpful. I wouldn't wish this cat litter on my worst enemy. I've tried several brands and variations of unscented, low-tracking litters and none have been this bad. The corn one smelled so awful on it's own, like an animal feed store. And after my cat used it for 3 days, even with me cleaning it twice a day, it smelled so much worse. Had to empty the tray so the cost for length of use is really high. With pee it came off the bottom really well, but then the clump itself still crumbled. Tracking was low but that's the only positive and other alternatives would be better.

Virtually perfect litter option!
We exclusively used Fresh Step Crystals for a good 5 years now, and wanted an alternative due to concerns of our infant picking and eating them, as they would track everywhere no matter what we tried. I wish we made the switch earlier, I can only think of one potential plus point of the crystals, being non-clumping and the potential of more re-use. However when you factor in the cost comparison that reason becomes moot. Add to that, my wife notices a huge difference when it comes to smell, the crystals would maintain the urine smell whereas anything that touches the tofu gets discarded. Her smell is better than mine and hands down she prefers the tofu option, it just smells more natural. The big improvement though is the tracking, we barely get any outside of directly in front of the litter box. And no more stepping on errant crystals with my bare foot. We’re very happy with the tracking. As long as this stays the same price I can’t see us changing out to anything else.

Never going back to clay litter
I work in veterinary medicine. One day, a client said to me “I like tofu-based litter. It’s more expensive but smells better.” I’d never heard of such a thing and decided to give it a try. Y’all. I’m not even kidding, this is such a game changer. I have 2 cats, 2 litter boxes, and no central air, so if I don’t scoop every day it WILL smell like cat pee in my apartment. I decided to hold on scooping after switching just to see how the odor control was. By the third day I still didn’t smell ANYTHING. I also ordered the tea scented variety just to see how strong the smell was, as every scented cat litter I have smelled is WAY stronger than most cats and migraine sufferers (like me) should be subjected to. The smell is very subtle and pleasant. I’m glad I finally have a litter for odor control that I can confidently recommend to clients. The only thing that’s a bit different is that this litter doesn’t sift through the scoop as easily because of it’s shape; you have to shake the scoop around a lot more to get it to sift through (unless you want to go through litter VERY fast). I’m going to see if there are special scoops that work better for this purpose. For me, this is absolutely worth the extra cost. I can finally hang out in the room where my litter boxes live again!

It’s okay
Overall: good clumping Not so good: odor control - not just the poo/pee, the scent of the litter itself is not pleasant. Tracking: I give it a 2/5 it definitely still tracks Cost: high - after only a few days of two kitties using it not sure it will be an economical choice long term. I got this litter bc I have a cat recovering from surgery and need him to be crated. My other cat goes in to use it as well bc she’s gotta have what her brother has even though she has another litter box. I prefer pellets 100% more then any other litter. I have the pellet system as well and it is still the best option after 16 years as a cat owner and trying all the litters. Minimal to no tracking, easy clean up, lasts a long time.

My new favourite litter! I have tried everything you can think of, and this litter is the one that holds smell the best and tracks the least. Also very durable. Contains the smells very well in a small studio.

Almost no tracking at all other than a few grains right in front of litter entrance - smell seems contained - easy to scoop - lasts a while as it clumps so the remaining litter stays clean and you just need to eventually top up - if your plumbing is robust you can even dump in the toilet (we don’t trust our pipes to support that) a huge improvement on our previous one that ended up everywhere, smelled, and stuck to the tray. We’re very happy with it though it might be a little on the expensive side. You get what you pay for though, and not having to vacuum bits of litter all through the house constantly seems worth the extra money. Also essential for us that the litter not be dusty so our cat doesn’t inhale toxic dust into its lungs (some of the cheap clumping ones are dangerous for cats to inhale) and this one has zero dust. No strong perfume either like some of those crystals, which isn’t great for cats’ sensitive sense of smell. Honestly an excellent litter, worth a try if you’re on the fence

Inga dammiga tassavtryck i sofforna! Ska helt gå över till sojaströ. Rekommenderas!
